Speaking the messages from God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The apostle Paul was entrusted by God with some very difficult messages, one being that circumcision was replaced by faith in Jesus.

Circumcision was one of the foundations for the children of Israel in the Old Testament.

Now the apostle Paul is going to come with "another doctrine" which had to sound wrong to many of the Jews.

Galatians 3:23-27    But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

***

Galatians 5:1-6    Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

***

The apostle Paul was entrusted by God with this message concerning faith in Jesus and no requirement for circumcision after Jesus.

Another message that was difficult for the Jews to take was the message that Jesus is risen from the dead and is the promised Messiah.  Paul was entrusted by God with this message also.  And they greatly persecuted Paul and the other apostles because of this message.

Paul speaks of some of the hardships that must be endured in order to speak that which God has given us.

I Thessalonians 2:2-6   But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

Paul endured much hardship because of the messages of God that he was faithful to speak to the religious people.

And some religious people in Paul's day did not consider Paul to be a real apostle for he did not fit the mold of the other apostles who had walked with Jesus.

I Corinthians 9:2   If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.

II Corinthians 11:5-6   For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

And Paul speaks of his many sufferings because of the messages he spoke to the religious people.

vv. 22-28   Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

***

After Jesus arose, HE gave to the church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
  (Ephesians 4:11-15)

And we who are placed in the NT ministries are entrusted with specific messages of God for the church today as God wills ... and often these messages greatly offend the religious people of our day just as the messages offended the religious people of Paul's day, but we faithfully speak what we believe to be from God regardless of the consequences to ourselves, just as did Paul.

***

God prepares each of us when HE is going to use us in ministry work.

Shortly after I was born again in 1975, and long before I knew I was called to be a minister of Jesus, God took me into heaven in the night where I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with The Word, God and the Holy Spirit witnessing.

And a second time, also in the night as I was sleeping, the exact same thing happened again where I was again merged into the body of Jesus, made one with the Word of God.

This set the basis for that which God would do with me later, for my work is very strongly in the Word of God.

***

At first, God gave me some very popular messages to speak to the church:  taking thoughts captive, following God by His Spirit, dealing with destructive thoughts.

God very quickly put me on radio from coast to coast.  Many people were attracted to the messages of the broadcasts.

Then God said to me:  "The foundation is laid.  Now we're really going to move."

A few weeks later, God said to me the following over and over:

"The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."

God showed me sins being committed in various big-time ministries.  And as a result the judgment type messages began.

The followers of those ministers hated these messages.  Many radio stations put me off the air after I spoke these messages.  God told me not to go out on the road where I was having meetings for the radio audiences.  I had to stay home alone in my apartment in Dallas.  I continued on the radio stations left to me for the next 2 years.  I sent printed messages to those radio audience people who remained on my mailing list.  God certainly sustained me but it was a very difficult time for me.

The radio station manager in Seattle said to me:  "Joan ... you have many 'good' messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak those judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."

My instant response to him, spoken by the Holy Spirit:  "George ... If I don't speak the message I believe to be from God, then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."

***

In the years following, I had a terrible time for I tried to find a church I could attend and everywhere I went I found pastors twisting scripture, perverting the word of God, and adding fabricated stories to the Bible examples which they chose to teach.

I went to each of these pastors and spoke to them in private.  And at one of the churches I spoke to an elder with whom I was acquainted.

It is amazing that two of those pastors said exactly the same thing to me.

When I asked where was that in the Bible that they had taught, both of them said, "I can't remember where it is in the Bible."

To these men I said the same thing:  "It is very important to me to know this so please look it up and have your secretary call me and tell me where it is in the Bible."

Each of these men responded to me with great anger saying, "All right ... it's not in the Bible!"

(I doubt these men knew each other but their response was exactly the same.  And neither of these pastors showed any repentance at all nor sorrow over that which they had taught in the church.)

***

I grieved greatly over that which I had witnessed in the church groups from 1982 through 2015.

Then in 2016, God, by the Holy Spirit, brought one word to my mind and by that one word I knew exactly what I had been seeing all these years in the churches.

"restraint"

The restraint was gone from these church groups.

II Thessalonians 2:1-8 NASB    Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

(KJV ... v. 3-4    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Churches would "fall away" from scripture and this would allow the man of sin into the churches.

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.)

***

NASB    6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

The restraint was the holy scripture which would be removed in part from the church groups.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (Jesus, The Word) who now restrains will do so until HE (the scripture) is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

***

By this, I knew what I had been seeing these many years in the church groups as I had sought a church to attend, without success.

* I was seeing the apostasy of the end times which Paul spoke of in II Thessalonians 2

* Churches fell away from portions of the scripture.

* This allowed antichrist to reign over those church groups.

* It had to happen in the churches before the second coming of Jesus.

***

I now understood and I no longer grieved as I once did although it was still hard to see.

***

Along the way, God gave me another very difficult message, which I spoke on my radio broadcasts and presented in writing.

The amazing thing about this message is that when I had to broadcast it and write it, I expected the church people to protest with great vehemence.  But shockingly, no one even sounded an objection to me.  They who were partaking of this in their churches didn't seem to care at all.

This message concerned "The Lord's Supper,"  and what it really meant to partake of such.

Many thousands of church goers partake of crackers and grape juice on Sundays at their churches and they call this, "The Lord's Supper."

The Lord's Supper has nothing at all to do with crackers and grape juice.

The Lord's Supper is the partaking of the Word of God.

I Corinthians 11:28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

How do we "examine" ourselves before partaking of crackers and grape juice?

Do we somehow come to the point of thinking we are "worthy" to partake of crackers and grape juice?

Do we decline the crackers and grape juice in the church service when we consider we are somehow unworthy?

***

What Paul is saying in I Corinthians 11 is this:

I Corinthians 11:28  But let a man examine himself (by the Word of God)), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup (of the Word of God), examining himself as he reads the Word of God.

The "Lord's Supper" is the partaking of the Word of God in an appropriate way, making changes to our lives as needed by the Word as we read and hear the Word.

There is great power in the Word of God.

There is no power at all in crackers and grape juice.  These fleshly acts were set up by fleshly religious men in the churches and were copied by other fleshly religious men through the decades from church groups to church groups.

***

John 6:30-60   They said therefore unto HIM (to Jesus), What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Then said they unto HIM, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

(Jesus, The Word, is the bread of life.)

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.   For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which HE hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Jews then murmured at Him, because HE said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of (by) God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of (from) the Father, cometh unto me.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

48 I am that bread of life.

(Jesus, the Word, is the bread of life.)

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

(Jesus, the Word, is "this" bread.)

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

(Eating and drinking the flesh and the blood of the Word of God.  I Corinthians 11:25  After the same manner also HE took the cup, when HE had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.)

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread (the Word) shall live for ever.

These things said HE in the synagogue, as HE taught in Capernaum.

60 Many therefore of His disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

(Many messages of God are "hard sayings" which cause fleshly religious people to turn away.)
