Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
How did God appear to Noah? In what form did God appear to Abraham? To Paul? Did God appear to them in bodily form? Or was it like God appears to us today?
Genesis 6:1-8 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
11-13 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah,
(There is no evidence in Bible that God appeared to Noah in bodily form ... It certainly looks like God spoke to Noah through Noah's mind by bringing the concept of what HE was going to do and by instructing Noah. If that is the case, it is exactly the same way God communicates with us today.)

Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram
(We see the same case in God speaking to Abram ... )

Acts 9:3-4 And as he (Saul, also called Paul) journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?

How does God appear to us, who are of God, today? A thought is put into our mind by the Holy Spirit of Jesus. A "voice" speaks a word, a concept, a sentence to us.
This is THE WORD speaking ... who came in the flesh and was known as Jesus, the Christ.
Of course other voices speak thoughts to us also, therefore we have to understand the difference between those thoughts that are from God ... those thoughts that are from the desires of our own flesh ... and those thoughts that are from devil and would lead us opposite from way of God in the matter at hand.
If we are involved in any form of envy, strife, or competition with others, we are not in a good position to hear from God.
James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
When we are at complete peace, we are in the way of God.
To keep ourselves in a state of peace is one of the instructions concerning the end times.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
It really helps me to understand all these things people strive over are temporary and even foolishness.
So why strive over such that is going to be destroyed anyway?
To turn to God in prayer when I am upset or troubled and allow God to settle me makes all the difference.
To allow my mind to be renewed by prayer and reading Bible and thinking on things God says, changes everything.
And to control myself, not trying to do too many things and getting tired and flustered seems important.
Luke 10:41-42 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
