Renewing Your Mind To Word of God
The apostle Paul tells us the following:
Romans 12:1-2 ... I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We relate immediately to renewing our mind by reading Bible.
And that is certainly correct.
But there is more to it than this.
We also need to renew our mind to things shown us before ... such as, the experience of being born again, dreams given to us along the way, and words brought by the Holy Spirit through the years.
When Paul wrote Romans 12, they had no New Testament.
What Paul wrote in Romans 12 was a letter he was writing to the church at Rome.
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
So what Paul was telling the church at that time was to "renew" their mind by thinking on that which he had taught them, that which the Holy Spirit had taught them, their belief in Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead by God ...
Certainly we want to continue to "renew our mind" by reading the Bible.
But we also should think on those things God has shown us and truths from God which we believe.
Renew: - resume after an interruption - re-establish doctrine or other truths by thinking on them - regain or restore mental vigor or; revive
