It is a very serious thing to take on yourself the mark of the beast.
We are warned about this in the book of Revelation.
Revelation 13:15-18 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The world, men of today's thinking, will say it is alright for a man to marry a divorced woman.

When a person agrees with man, casting aside Bible on the subject, that person takes on the mark of the beast ... the thinking of man over the thinking of God that is expressed in the Bible.

Man today often says drunkenness is a disease.
The Bible says drunkenness is a sin, a work of the flesh, and they who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. I Corinthians 6:9-10
To agree with man is to take on the mark of the beast, taking on the number of a man on the subject while casting aside the Bible.

Homosexuals and lesbians often say they were born this way, that they have always been attracted to the same sex. Therefore they imply it like being born black or being born deformed. They can't help it, they say. The men (and women) of this world often approve homosexual and lesbians as a result of this thinking of man.
But the Bible says God turned homosexuals and lesbians over to a reprobate mind because when they knew HIM they did not worship HIM ...
Romans 1:24-27 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
To choose to believe the thinking of man over that which the Bible says is to take upon yourself the mark of the beast.

Man commonly sanctions divorce and remarriage and says "God wants you to be happy so of course you can remarry after divorce." This is the reasoning of man on the issue.
But the Commandment of the LORD on the subject is explained by the apostle Paul as follows:
I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
To go opposite from the Bible is to take on the mark of the beast.

There is a fearful consequence for those who take on the mark of the beast.
Revelation 14:9-10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of HIS indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Some do these things against the Word of God before they are born again.
But to do these things after you are born again is a fearful consequence. To go along with the thinking of men against scripture brings wrath of God upon you.
To take on the thinking of men of this world rather than choosing the Word of God is to take the mark of the beast on your "forehead" (in your mind) or in your "hand" (by doing these acts against God).

The mark of the beast is the thinking of a man.
I Kings 19:18 ... God explains to Elijah ... Yet I have left Me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
The righteous person will cling to the holy scriptures and will not go along with that which is against the scripture.
II Timothy 3:13-17 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
