Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
All resentments must be dealt with in a spiritual way.
We are not of this world so when confronted with the expectations of this world, we might become resentful unless we view these things from a godly way.
Consider this: The Pharisees came to Jesus asking Him about paying tax to Caesar.
Matthew 22:17-21 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
And He saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
They say unto him, Caesar's.
Then saith He unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

It sometimes seems unfair, what they require. We can fall into sin of resentment and be puffed up against them but that harms us.
We who are of God are simply passing through this land, spectators, so to speak.
Our kingdom is not of this world. We have another land laid up for us in heaven.
If they require it, let them have it.
God will provide our need, says Paul ... Philippians 4
God knows that which we need.
Let them have their earthly dues.
God knows that which we need.
Let them have their earthly dues.
Money meant so little to Jesus he just had Peter go out and catch a fish and take a piece of gold out of the mouth of the fish and give it to them for their tax.
Jesus knew the truth about all these things that seem so important to us.
Often the world is unfair. But God will repay and make it possible for us to have those things we need as long as HE chooses to leave us here.
Live in peace, without spot, and blameless. II Peter 3
If you can't seem to get over the resentment, pray, ask God to help you to get your heart right with Him.
