Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
When we are born again, we are given the Holy Spirit to live in us.
Jesus said this concerning the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
We have the power to be witness to the works of God after we receive the Holy Spirit for it is the Spirit that is doing the work of God in us and it is the Spirit bringing to our mind what to say and therein lies the power.
The power is in that given us by the Holy Spirit.
An example: One time I was playing golf with 2 women, a Church of Christ woman and a Methodist. The Methodist woman began to complain about those who judge others. The Holy Spirit said through me these words: If you judge someone is judging, aren't you judging?
The Methodist woman gasped like a balloon that is punctured by a pin.

The Holy Spirit rises up in the person with information and thoughts and wisdom in the issue at hand.
This is all done by the will of God and not of ourselves and it happens in the timing of God.
We just "witness" by speaking that which has been given to us by God.
It is important to speak that which we believe we are given by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes God reveals something to us. Speak that word. For that is the power of God.
We can study and study and study and still not have anything of God. But when the Holy Spirit rises up in us, the power is there to do the work of God. It is never of ourselves nor of learning of man but is from God by HIS Spirit.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
