💥 Podcast: Does the doctrine of the church you are attending fit the doctrine of the Bible?

The first church I attended after I was born again was teaching that tongues are of the devil.

 

I was reading the Bible and came across the following scripture:  The apostle Paul said:  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.  (I Corinthians 14:39)

What do you do when the doctrine being taught at your church differs from that which you read in the Bible?

 

We have to choose.  Do we follow our church or do we follow the Bible?  We can't do both.
