Philemon 1:6  That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

(Pam Padgett) ... About ten years ago the bottom of my mouth became extremely sore.  When the pain didn't go away after a few days, I began looking for a dentist (my dentist had recently retired) and found a dentist recommended on Next Door as being very gentle.

This dentist's examination showed that I had a bone spur under the skin on the bottom of my mouth.  She referred me to an oral surgeon to remove the bone spur.

As I drove home, I began talking with God, telling HIM that I really didn't want to go to an oral surgeon and asking if there was any other way to deal with this problem.  I didn't hear any alternatives from God, so went ahead and made an appointment with the oral surgeon.

As I waited for the oral surgeon appointment date, my mouth was extremely painful for a few days.  But then one day I realized that the pain had subsided.  I felt I could floss my teeth and, as I did so, I heard something fall onto the counter.  It was a small, thin, piece of bone with very jagged edges.  I took it to the dentist and she confirmed this was the bone spur.

Incredibly, God had caused the bone spur to move to a place between my teeth where the floss somehow popped it out without surgery!  I didn't need to go see the oral surgeon and just cancelled that appointment.
