* Paul says: In the last days, "perilous times" will come.

Comments by Joan Boney:

I was watching TV world news this week, and people in responsible places of government were speaking things that seemed very strange, and some were showing violence and fierceness.

I even watched some of this twice to be sure I was hearing what these people were actually saying ... and it was as I heard the first time.

What is going on here?  I wondered.

And God reminded me of what the apostle Paul said about the end times and how people would act, saying and doing:

II Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

We keep our hope in God and in that which God does and we need to focus on God instead of on worldly men.

II Peter 3:13-14    Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
