* Neither let us tempt Christ. (I Cor. 10:9)

The example we have in the Bible of tempting God is as follows:

Matthew 4

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

5 Then the devil taketh HIM up into the holy city, and setteth HIM on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto HIM, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, HE shall give HIS angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

I am 83 years old.

Recently my health care provider contacted me by e-mail asking if I wanted to take the Coronavirus vaccination.

I did not want to do this so I replied, "No."

Then I said to God, "I don't want to do this but if YOU want me to do this I will."

Proverbs 3:6-7 In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes:

To go among crowds of people, thinking God would never let anything happen to you, can be a type of boasting and tempting God.
