* Proverbs 21: Those who try to argue against God's word and try to reason God's word away.


30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD (The WORD).

(When God gives us a Word, that is all that matters.  There is nothing that can stand against that word from God.)

31The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD (The WORD).

I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So when we share the Word with a "natural man", he will often get very silent and not respond at all.  We know he does not believe the Word when he does this.  He considers the Word to be foolish.


When this happens, we must learn to walk away from him.  Don't keep trying to teach him for it will grieve you.  He will trouble you.  You will not be able to live in peace with him.  You often think you will cause him to understand but instead he troubles you and he will be a thorn in your side and prick in your eye and will vex you.

God says:

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Choose to do this for it is the Word of the Lord.

When God gives us a word, we simply obey that word, for there is no counsel against the Word of the Lord.

Words of the Lord:

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.  (James 4:4)

friend:  one who supports and aids

*  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.  (II John vv.8-11)

* Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (I Cor. 6:18)

Even if you have sex with a prostitute, the two become one flesh. (I Cor. 6:16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

* Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (I Cor. 6:9-10)

We did some of these sins before we were born again but after we are born again, we must not do these sins for Jesus paid once for our sins and after we are enlightened, there is no more sacrifice for such sins.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people.  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.  (Heb. 10:26-31)

(Concerning homosexuals & lesbians)

*  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.  (Romans 1:16-27)

Born homosexuals?  Jesus says:  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  (Mark 10:6)

(Concerning divorce & remarriage)

*  Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.  (Mt. 5:32)

-  The husband who divorces a "faithful" wife will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries.
-  The faithful wife will commit adultery if she remarries after divorce.
-  The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

*  Paul says:  And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to [her] husband: and let not the husband put away [his] wife. (I Cor. 7:10-11)

*  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.  (Rom. 7:1-3)

Churches often teach we are not under the law.  We are not under "the Law of Moses" where we have to sacrifice animals for sins.  But the New Testament church is under the law (rules) set forth in the NT Bible and will be judged by these words of the NT Bible at the day of judgment.

God says:  "The world wants freedom to sin.  The children of God want freedom from sin."  The Word of God frees us from sin when we obey the instructions given by God in HIS Word.

*  Jesus says:  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;  And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.  (Mark 10:6-9; 11-12)

*  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain(James 1:26)

If we meditate on the Word of God, that Word rises up in us and overcomes our own flesh to cause us to go in the way of God and not in the way of our flesh.

Every time we obey a scripture we are recreated into the image of Christ, The Word.

Romans 12:1-2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
