Guarantee From God For Success In All That We Do
If we do things God’s way, HE guarantees us success in everything we do in this present life.
In the flesh and in the ways of men of this present world, we go to school, often earning high degrees in Colleges and Universities. We take great efforts to prepare ourselves to succeed in this world. But there is no guarantee.
With God there is a guarantee for success in all that we do if we do it God’s way.

Psalm 1
Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful,
But his delight is in the law of the Lord;
and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Focus on the Word of God, what God says.
When we have one scripture stand out to us when we are reading Bible, and we stop and focus on that one scripture, considering what God is saying to us in that verse ... and when we choose to do that scripture ... we have entered into a great treasure ... greater than silver, gold, rubies or anything else on this earth that we can see with our natural eye.
For example: consider doing the following
Romans 13:10 ...
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:
If your neighbor has a noisy air conditioner motor outside his house and the noise drones constantly into your bedroom, you do not yield to the temptation to go over there at midnight and cut the electric line leading to the unit.
You commit the problem to God in prayer, controlling your flesh through prayer.
*****
If we are in a type of temptation, we can pray, asking God to show us how to deal with the problem, asking God to give us wisdom in the matter at hand.
James 1:5 ... If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
I Cor. 10:13 ... There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

If our goal is to do no ill to anyone, then we think on that scripture "day and night".
That is called: Meditating in the Word of God
Certainly, we begin with prayer, asking God to help us to understand this simple instruction and above all to do it!
Love would never commit adultery ... Love would never murder ... Love would never steal ... for all these acts would do "ill" to others.

By thinking on that Word from God, the power to actually do that Word rises up in us.
We end up having good success, as God told Joshua.
Joshua 1:8-9
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee? (Isn't this God's will for me?)
Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

It sometimes helps to look up key words in dictionary:

We learn to pay attention to the scriptures brought to mind, knowing God leads us by HIS Spirit bringing to our minds scripture … or dreams ... or thoughts from the Holy Spirit.
Jesus says:
Jn. 14:26 … But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jn 16:13… 13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

Paul explained to us in I Corinthians 2 that the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, searches the heart of God, the mind of God, to reveal to us, the people of God, the will of God in the matter at hand.
The Holy Spirit does not speak of HIS own ideas. The Holy Spirit speaks what HE hears from God.
I Cor. 2 ...
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Jesus said of HIMSELF ...
I can of MINE own self do nothing: as I hear (from God The Father), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not MINE own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent ME. Jn. 5:30
As HE heard from God, Jesus spoke those words.
And we should do the same thing, hearing from God (not from men of this world) … and speaking what we hear from God.
When we are born again, we have the Spirit of God so we are equipped by God to know the will of God by those thoughts brought to us by the Spirit of God.
This is the way to succeed on this earth in all that we do on this earth.
We love the Word of God, the Holy Bible. We try to do what we see instructed in the Bible. We keep the Word of God before us day and night. We learn to pay attention to the Word brought to us by the Spirit of God.
We are commissioned by God in the same instruction as Joshua was commissioned by God for the work God chose for Joshua.
Our assignment on this earth differs from Joshua. But the plan for accomplishing that assignment is the same as Joshua’s.
Joshua 1 ... Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

If you are running to ungodly, worldly men to get success … If you live in fear of men on this earth … If you are constantly overcome by fear-filled thoughts… you are not going in the way of God.
If you belong to God, are a child of God, this should not be the case.
Start by praying … asking God to help you to have the WORD you need and the strength you need to do that WORD.
Keep that WORD, concerning the matter at hand, before you day and night. Meditate on that word. Consider how that Word applies in your life and what you must do in order to perform that Word. Then as you get stronger by looking at that Word day and night, do that Word.
… not just reading the Word … but really doing the Word of God.
Let your faith be in The Word of God brought by the Spirit of God.
God promises us we will prosper in all that we do and have good success if we will keep HIS Word before us day and night, thinking upon that instruction and doing HIS Word, not just hearing HIS Word.
Only through faith in God through God’s Word can we do HIS instruction by the Spirit of God that is in us.
Faith hears from God on the matter at hand. Checks the spirit to be sure it is the Spirit of God speaking to him. And when persuaded it is God speaking, obeys that spoken to him by the Spirit.
