Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Titus 3:8 ... This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
What are "good works"?
Good works are those things shown you by God.
Good works could be a specific assignment for you personally.
I have an assignment from God to care for the church and I have been given a gift of exhortation.
Maintaining that gift of exhortation ... stir up that gift ... I stir up that gift by reading Bible and by thinking of things God has shown me in past and by exhorting the church continually on this blog and by email.

If you are married, you certainly have an assignment from God toward your mate and your children.

There are common "good works" ... such as to continually abstain from the flesh as one risen from the dead ...
walk in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance:against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Gal. 5

And if we fail, we know grace is greater than our failure ...
Recently I was driving home from grocery. When I drive, I am very aware of that which is going on behind my car, looking often in rear view mirror.
It had been raining and puddles of water were on parts of the highway home. I was going to turn right a few block ahead but since a good amount of water had accumulated in the right hand lane, I remained in the left lane, planning to get into the right lane a block or so before my turn.
Then through rear view window, I saw a pickup truck coming up very fast from behind. I knew it was going to hit the water and throw water all over my car.
In "hatred" I pulled into the right lane and sped up so the water would go over the pick up if the driver chose to continue at his current fast rate of speed. I got past the bulk of the water by speeding up before he could pass me but there was still considerable water on the street.
He was about a block behind me when I worked into the right lane.
When he saw me do this, he pulled into the left lane to try to pass me which would have covered me with water. I sped up again. I got past the accumulated water before he could pass me and cover me with water. He zoomed past me and turned directly in front of me getting into the right lane and then turned right onto the street where I turned.
I wanted to follow him and yell at him.
I wanted him to get what he deserved.
This was not in "in love" but in hatred.
Shortly after this, I repented.
What should I have done? I don't know. But I hope next time I will yield to God and do what I am shown to do in love rather than allowing his evil toward me to cause me to do evil.
Some of these things spring up like brush fires.

maintain good works ... but each of us have to work through this with God, sharping ourselves on what good works are to us.
