Scriptures:

Philippians 3:7- 9  (the apostle Paul says)  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in HIM, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Luke 21:22-28 (Jesus speaking):
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

(Comments from Beth Martin) This morning I heard "look up". The above scripture is the one that instructs us. In thinking about this I know that we are always to look to Him for all help, wisdom, instruction, comfort, and direction minute by minute in our lives. We look to Him for all of our needs

What a great feeling to know that He wants us and tells us to "look up" to Him. How He wants to help us and deliver us. What love this is ..... and how wonderful to be the recipient!

Isaiah 26:3-4  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee (the Word given us by God): because he trusteth in Thee.

4 Trust ye in The Lord for ever: for in The Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

Isaiah 46:3-4  Hearken unto ME, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by ME from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

4 And even to your old age I am HE; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Romans 13:11-14 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:22-23   But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
