I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

II Thessalonians 2:7-12    For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Delusion:  believing that which is not true

Hitler believed he was on a mission from God (never mind the fact that he had killed 6,000,000 Jews and countless thousands of others without cause) ... Hitler believed God would not allow him to be killed in WWII.  Several times his own army generals had tried to kill him and had failed.  This made Hitler more assured he could not be killed due to his "mission."

At the end of his life while he was living in Berlin, underground in his bunker, Hitler believed his army, that he thought was outside Berlin, would come and save him and deliver him to his mountain retreat.  (There was no army.  Hitler deluded himself though his generals told him there was no army.)

Finally Hitler committed suicide in the bunker.

Another WWII delusion:  The prime minister of England, Chamberlin, met with Hitler 3 times during the period of 1937-38 to try to work out peace between Germany and the nations to the east of Germany.

Hitler did not want peace.  He just wanted to take over these 3 nations  (Austria, Czechs, Poland) without being attacked by England or France.  (Hitler had already moved into the Rhineland.)

Chamberlin returned to England and said he believed Mr. Hitler was a man of his word.

Incredible delusion:  refusing to consider the facts.

That is what delusion is.  Refusing to consider facts.

Faith is hearing from God.  That is a fact on which we base faith.  We have heard from God and we know we have, a fact!  When we have, it is a fact and not a delusion although there are deluding spirits.

But to ignore the actions done by an evil person and to even think that evil person to be "good" is an abomination in the sight of God.

There are evil persons who come among the church and they think they are of God.  We know them by their fruits.  If they produce thorns and thistles, they are not of God.   They will hurt us if we try to be around them.
