The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the issues pertaining to this life. I Corinthians 2
Step by step as we go through this life, we have the guidance of God (light) to walk in.
The Holy Spirit will bring ideas to us in the form of thoughts (concepts), showing us what we should do.
One of the primary ways to examine whether that idea is from God is this:
God's yoke is easy and HIS burden is light. Mt. 11
When the plan is hard and complicated and expensive, we probably do not have the wisdom that is from God on the matter.
If that is the case, we need to STOP, back off ... pray ... rethink the plan.
James 3:17 ... But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
