Jesus says:
John 10:9 I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Jesus, THE WORD, is the door.
When we find THE WORD and enter in by that word, we are saved from our own flesh and from other flesh and we go in and out by that door and find "pasture."
Other doors bring destruction.
Therefore Jesus warns us:
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
