Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
O my God, I trust in THEE:
let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Yea, let none that wait on THEE be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

This is the new covenant ... Therefore it would be inappropriate to pray for God not to remember the sins of our youth after we are born again, for God promises the NT church that HE will not remember the sins of our youth. By faith in what God says in NT, we believe what God has promised in NT. )

according to THY mercy remember THOU me for THY goodness' sake, O Lord.

The meek will HE guide in judgment:

(Moses the meekest of all men in OT. Meek are those submitted to do the will of God and obey God. Jesus the ultimate "meek" for HE obeyed God even to death on a cross.)

After we are born again, If we walk in THE LIGHT, as HE is in the light, ... the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin. 1 Jn. 1 ...This is a continual cleansing "if" we walk in the light of the Word.)
