💥 Depending on God as our way of life

Various problems come to each of us as we live on this earth, and we overcome each problem by turning to God, and depending on God to show us what to do, believing what HE says, and doing that.  

 

In September, 2022, I was diagnosed with high-grade, muscle-invasive, bladder cancer. I was told that, without treatment, I would be dead in a year, two years at the very most. The prescribed treatment was 4 chemotherapy infusions followed by surgical removal of my bladder and construction of another way for my body to remove waste.

 

I was very troubled by this plan to remove my bladder, especially not wanting to focus for the rest of my life on bodily functions, as I felt would be the case with the surgery.  So I asked God if there was any way I could be spared having my bladder removed.

God showed me another way to go ... chemotherapy with radiation therapy.  Although most of the medical people didn't feel this was appropriate treatment in my case, God worked it out for them to agree to make this change in treatment.

 

HE also gave me dreams and scriptures to strengthen me and to overcome fears. Joan Boney, an apostle/prophet, was given an open vision which showed a mass like 3 balls.  Then there was a  loud "swoosh" sound, and the mass fell in on itself and was gone.  She believed this had to do with my cancer.  

 

Scriptures, dreams, visions, concepts from the Holy Spirit ... all are words from God showing the way to go,  strengthening us as we go in that way, sometimes showing us what lies ahead, providing what we need that we may go forward in peace as the will of God is accomplished in our lives.

 

Cancer treatments for me ended in mid-January, 2023, and multiple followup tests since that time have found no cancer.

We deal with each problem and overcome each fear through God. 

Psalm 34:19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

 

No matter what we face, big or small, and whatever God's will and purpose in the situation, HE leads us in the best way for us to go and helps us. And when that problem is dealt with, we often marvel in how God led us and are so thankful to God for what HE has done.

Then another problem pops us, and we again turn to God, depend on HIM to show us what to do, believe what HE says to us, and go in that way.

 

This is a way of life when we belong to God, born again. We are not overcome by problems. We overcome in each problem through God.

And we know the result isn't of ourselves, but of God.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Word given us by God).

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (believing what God has told us in the matter and going in that way). 

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
