The Holy Spirit of God lives in each believer to show that believer the will of God in dealing with the issues of this present life.  (I Cor. 2)

James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things, reminds us of that which Jesus has said, guides us into all truth, shows us things to come.  (Jn. 14:26 & 16:13)

The way of this world will fail.  God will not fail.

We have a sure thing with God when we have the Holy Spirit in us to guide us and when we follow God by HIS Spirit making our decisions by HIS Spirit.

 

 

I Corinthians 2:12-13  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 

 

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

 

 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

 

2 Timothy 4:3-4  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Matthew 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.   

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
