* Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2)

Comments by Joan Boney:

Yesterday, I was looking at the headlines on my internet written copy of CNN.

The headline at the top of the list said, "Unforgivable" and it showed a soccer player where racist remarks had been made about him.

I thought:  "The only sin that is unforgivable is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."

Luke 12:10   Jesus said:  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

We must be diligent to take every thought captive to bring that thinking unto the obedience of Christ, The Word.

II Cor. 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (The Word);

We must keep the truth of God straight, otherwise false sayings of this world will go down into our hearts as seeds and bring forth things that are not true at some point in time.

Being racist is not an "unpardonable" sin.  It can be forgiven.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unpardonable sin!
