One of the great instruments used by God for our benefit are angels.
Angels are mighty in power, delivering messages by the will of God to the church, performing various judgments, and delivering us.

And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Angel appears to Paul to show him what is to happen. They were in serious danger of being destroyed in a storm at sea. But God reassures them they will be saved by God.
Acts 27:18-25
And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

I believe it was an angel of God who spoke to me the night of January 10, 1980.
I was asleep in the night and was awakened with a loud trumpet-like voice speaking three words into my ear, saying:
"Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"
I awoke and wrote "KWJS" on a notepad, not wanting to get these letters mixed up.
It appeared to me that these letters were call signs to either radio or TV.
I found KWJS to be a radio station.
Immediately a gentle voice put the following into my mind as a thought: "Call the radio station manager."
That same morning I called and asked to speak with the radio station manager at station KWJS. I told him God might be showing me to go on radio. I asked, "How would you do that?"
The station manager told me to make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to him and if I fit their broadcasts he would send me a contract.
Within that same week, I was broadcasting exhortations to the church on KWJS five days a week.
Within the year, I was on radio from Hartford (NYC) to Seattle.

Angels serve God today by delivering HIS messages to the church and by helping us in various ways.
