Debt is a very serious trap

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Debt is a way of the world, not a plan of God.

Bible issues many warnings against "covetousness" which is often road to going into debt.

It is not a wise way of life.  It is a wisdom of this world.  It is a trap.

Heb. 13 ... 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

When a person applies for mortgage, the lender takes information from the person and tells that person "how much house he can afford".  Often people will borrow as much money as possible, stepping into danger and trap.  For a Christian this can really end up being deadly, for if something happens to salary, debt can trap Christian into making unwise decisions concerning jobs and what he does to meet that debt.  It is far better not to yield to that desire for "more".

I Tim. 6 ... 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:from such withdraw thyself.

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil:which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
