Is your house built on Bible ... or on wisdom of man?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Paul warned Timothy not to get caught up in profane and old wives tales ...

profane means: relating or devoted to that which is not sacred or Biblical ...

Where is truth?  What is truth?

The scripture are truth  ... What does the Bible say?

What does the Bible say about physical exercise?

What does the Bible say about foods?

What does the NT tell us we should weigh?

What is really important and if important where is that in NT?

And if it is not in NT, why then is it so important to you?  Reconstruct your life and thinking based on Bible.

The world has all sorts of ideas.

What does the Bible have to say about these things?

Where do we get our truth?

Look closely at the following warnings ... You can see that Paul was warning Timothy not to go in the way of this world, taking up all sorts of ideas which are not of God.

I Tim. 4 ... 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

7 But refuse profane and old wives 'fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little:but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11 These things command and teach.

Notice Paul said to command these things...

Command the church to refuse these secular concepts which are so popular today in the thinking of humans.

Make the church consider the Bible ... What does the Bible teach?

Paul told Timothy instead of focusing on the body which is only temporary, to focus on godliness which is profitable for all things.

I know this is what we, who are of God, want to do.  I know this is true wisdom.

What does the Bible say?

Each of us must consider this before making these doctrines (thinkings) a rule of life.

What does the NT say about foods?  Are we supposed to eat vegatables?  Is that what the NT says.  If so, then do it.  Are we supposed to go by the  5 food groups?  Is that what the Bible tells us?

We will never fail when we build our life on a rock of the Bible.

Be careful ... I just warn you as I am appointed by God to do.  You can think something conditioned by flesh of man, but that does not mean it is of God.

Measure yourself by asking God ... and by Bible.  Build your house on this.  Each of us must do this.
