Translated by God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Heb. 11:5 ... By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Translated means to be changed from one form to another form.

Death is an attack against the flesh of man.  To avoid death, God translated Enoch from the human fleshly form which is subject to death to another form that Enoch would not see death.

Paul explains that not all will die.  When Jesus returns those who are alive at the time will be changed in a twinkling of an eye.  They, like Enoch, will be translated from this current human form to another form for it would be impossible for these current human bodies to go to heaven since they are corruptible.

Paul says:  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor. 15

This will be an instant change ... blink your eyes ... we will be changed that quickly, "in the twinkling of an eye".

After we are changed, we rise to meet Jesus in the air.  The dead in Christ rise first, then those who are alive will be changed and rise.

I Thess. 4 ... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (concerning those who have already died), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep (dead).  16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Another form of translation takes place when we are born again.  But that translation is not a bodily translation but a translation in the spirit for when that happens we are changed and we are given the Spirit of God to dwell in us and lead us and guide us.  (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)  And so we are ever with the Lord by HIS Spirit for by HIS Spirit we are one with Jesus and also by HIS Spirit we know the will of God for the Spirit of God searches the heart of God to reveal the will of God to us who belong to HIM.  (I Cor. 2)

And because we have HIS Spirit and follow HIS Spirit we know we belong to God and others who belong to God know we belong to God because we follow the Spirit of God and so do they.

Romans 8:14 ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Recently I had some repair work done on my house.  A man sat with me for about 2 hours one day and we spoke of things of God.  I shared many dreams and other instances where I followed God by faith.  This man freely spoke as we met together.  But after he left, I had the thought, "What did he say that showed God?"  And when I examined what had just happened I could think of nothing this man said that showed God in Him.  He just parroted things which preachers have said.  This man is probably not led by the Spirit of God since there is no evidence of the Spirit of God in him.  By the Spirit of God we know the children of God. (In subsequent meetings he said things which clearly showed me that he doesn't understand things of God.)

Jesus said:  Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mt. 24

Many will come to us saying "Jesus is Lord".  They will come saying they believe the Bible.  They will sound like Christians.  But where is the evidence of the Spirit of God in them and what do they say that shows God is leading them by His Spirit.  When we examine that, we will not deceive ourselves.
