Hymn: I love to tell the story

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

 1.  I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,

Of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story,

Because I know ’tis true;
It satisfies my longings

As nothing else can do.

Chorus:

I love to tell the story,
’Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old, old story

of Jesus and His love.

 2.  I love to tell the story;
More wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies

Of all my golden dreams,
I love to tell the story,

It did so much for me;
And that is just the reason

I tell it now to thee.

3.  I love to tell the story;
’Tis pleasant to repeat
What seems each time I tell it,

More wonderfully sweet.
I love to tell the story;

For some have never heard
The message of salvation

From God’s own holy Word.

4.  I love to tell the story;
For those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting

To hear it like the rest.
And when, in scenes of glory,

I sing the new, new song,
’Twill be the old, old story,

That I have loved so long.

Scripture pertaining to this hymn:

Philemon v.6    That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

***

Romans 5:5-9   ... the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

***

Concerning telling the story of Jesus ...

Every time I share that which God has shown me, I tell of God and His power to help us and guide us as we live on this present earth.

It seems I'm almost always sharing something with people who come to the house to work.

And wherever I am, I share as the subject arises.

I never plan anything.  I just pray for God to have me say what HE wants me to say and it seems there is always something HE wants me to say.

I speak as issues and scripture are brought to memory.  This is the way the Holy Spirit leads me.

Instruction in Righteousness: From Matthew 20

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

***

17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death,
19 And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him: and the third day He shall rise again.

***

20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

21 And He said unto her, What wilt thou?

She saith unto Him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on Thy right hand, and the other on the left, in Thy kingdom.

22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

They say unto him, We are able.

23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on My right hand, and on My left, is not Mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of My Father.

24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

***

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.

30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

33 They say unto Him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

Keep the fire for God and HIS work burning in you

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 1, Chapter 21
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Hebrews 6:10-12 ... For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward HIS name (the WORD), in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Slothful means:  lazy, apathetic

*****

We have to work to keep our heart from going cold. The iniquity of this world and the attitudes we see in people around us can harden us. Therefore Paul often told Timothy to "stir up" the gift that is inside him.

Each of us has the greatest gift of all ... salvation through belief in God and Jesus Christ, the Word.

We stir up that gift by remembering how God saved us and by remembering the wonderful works God has done in us.

When we see the sin of others, we can pull away and reflect again on God and what HE did with us.

We can light the fire in us by Bible reading and especially by reflecting on the scriptures which exhort us to continue in the work assigned us by God as we are on this earth.

*****

The following scriptures have been very helpful to me to encourage me to hold fast to the work of God and to continue in doing that work.

Hebrews 3:12-15 ... Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Hebrews 10:23-26 ... Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

*****

We cannot allow ourselves to become apathetic. We work at keeping the fire of God lit, deliberately forcing ourselves to look at scriptures that inspire us in continuing the Word of God while we live on this earth.

I Thessalonians 5:22   Abstain from all appearance of evil.

***

I Corinthians 11:25-31     After the same manner also HE took the cup, when HE had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in MY blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of ME (of that which HE has spoken).

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup
(of the New Testament), ye do shew the Lord's death till HE come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord
(of the Word), unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die).  For if we would judge ourselves (by the Word of God), we should not be judged.

***

John 4:23-24   But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

***

Matthew 23:9   And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:32  Jesus said ... But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

***

Ephesians 4:11-15   And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

***

II Thessalonians 2:10-12    And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

***

Genesis 6:12-14   And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah
, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Genesis 6:22    Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

***

Genesis 12:1-4    Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him.

Mark 4:3-8    Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

14-20    The sower soweth the word.

And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

II Peter 3:1-14    This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:   That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.   The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

God sees man as he really is.

Joan Boney
apostle/prophet

I've often heard people says:  "Oh!  My God would never do that!"

People often view God by their own image.  The Bible shows us God in HIS Own Image.

When we see God in HIS truth, many things change.

Then we come into a respect and awe of God and HIS mighty works.  The miracles God does are enlarged.  We take on a reverential "fear of God" and respect.  And we draw much nearer to real salvation in God through Jesus Christ.

This book will show us God as God really is by viewing the Holy Scriptures.

***

First, here is God's view of man:

Genesis 6:5-8    And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

(Man is no different today than he was in the days of Noah, except for those men who are born again by the Spirit of God.  The nature of man has not changed since God described man in the above scripture.)

6 And it repented the Lord that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart.

And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth ME that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

So God made a way of escape for Noah and his family!

***

The apostle Paul came to see himself as God viewed him.

And Paul said:

"For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing."  Romans 7:18

Here are the things our flesh does:

Galatians 5:19-21    Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these

Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft (living in superstitions), hatred, variance (to vary, to argue, to debate), emulations (to strive to outdo one another), wrath (to desire to see harm done to those considered enemies), strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

***

So God made another way for man to be redeemed from his own flesh.

When I was baptized, after I was born again, as the minister lowered me into the water, the Holy Spirit said to me, "This is like being buried with Christ."

When I came out of the water, the Holy Spirit said, "This is like being raised with Christ."

After we are born again we have the Spirit of God in us. We keep the flesh "crucified" by choosing the way of the Spirit.  Our flesh suffers when we do this for the flesh no longer gets to do what it wants to do. There is now a power of God in us which gives us the option of walking in the ways of the Spirit of God and keeping the flesh "under".
We live in Christ when we learn to do this.

***

After we are born of God's Spirit, we no longer have to live by our flesh as we once did.

The Holy Spirit brings ideas to our mind which show us the way of God in the matter at hand and we choose "that" way.

The Holy Spirit does the following for us:

John 14:26     But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

***

Now that we are Christians, we no longer choose to follow what our flesh wants to do.

Now we walk in the Spirit by choosing to do that which the Holy Spirit brings to our mind, keeping our flesh crucified.

Romans 6:3-7    Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into HIS death?  Therefore we are buried with HIM by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The flesh will continue to suggest to us ways to go but we choose the way shown us by the Spirit which is the way of God.

5-6
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of HIS death, we shall be also in the likeness of HIS resurrection:  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with HIM, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

We keep our flesh, the old man, crucified by choosing to go in the way of God in the matter pertaining to this present life.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8-10    Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with HIM: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that HE died, HE died unto sin once: but in that HE liveth, he liveth unto God

Now we live unto God, choosing God's way instead of the way of our flesh.

11-12
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Now we ask God not to let us do that!  We pray to God asking God to keep us from saying that!

Instead of exalting ourselves over other people, we come to want to help those other people that they can know God as we know God.

Every time the Holy Spirit shows us the way of God and we choose to go in that way of God, we are recreated in the image of Christ, the Word.

***

God had another way to provide salvation for us.  We would never be "good enough" by our own works, so God had Jesus die for us that HIS blood would pay for our sins, and HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, would come to live in us to guide us in God's ways and to teach us and to help us and even to comfort us.

We still have the flesh which wants to do all the works of the flesh but now we also have the Spirit of God living in us and we overcome our own flesh by choosing the way of the Spirit and keeping the flesh "under" as if that flesh is dead, crucified with Christ.

***

Hebrews 9:22   And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission

In the Old Testament, the blood of bulls and goats were offered to appease God for the sins and trespasses of the individual. And this had to be done yearly and throughout the year.

Jesus offered himself to appease God for our sins.  Jesus bought us by His own blood.

God provided for us today a better way than they had in the Old Testament.

I didn't shed my blood to pay for my sins.  Jesus shed HIS blood to pay for my sins.

And through the Spirit of Jesus who came to live in me, I can know the will of God for me to go in the specific issues pertaining to this life so I can choose to go that way and keep my own flesh under without going in the preference of my flesh!

My flesh is not made better after I am born again.  The flesh is just as bad as it ever was.  But I can mortify my flesh each time it tries to rise up in me to hate, and to exalt myself over others, and to please itself through adultery or fornication and such.

I now have a power in me to overcome my own flesh and that is the power of God by HIS Spirit.

I Corinthians 10:13    There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

So in the temptation, I can cry out to God asking God to help me ... and HE does!

Not once has God failed me when I have asked HIM to help me.

We, who are of God, do not want to sin.

The world wants a freedom to sin.  They want to be approved in their sins.  They look for people, and even for churches, which will approve them as they continue to live in various sins.

But we want a freedom from sin.

And that way shown to us by God in the midst of a temptation is a freedom from sin when we choose to go that way, keeping the flesh under the control of the Spirit.

Paul says:

I Corinthians 9:24-17    Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

***

This is a really great plan of salvation given to us by God,  for God knew we could never be saved by our ownselves.

The examples presented in this book should turn us to God, allowing us to see God and to see God's view.

It will be a very exciting and profitable journey for us to see these Old Testament examples and to compare such with New Testament truths as we examine this book.

For the Old Testament shows the image of God and the great power of God for the church who believes in HIM.

* If we sin, we must repent of that sin.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the previous writings, we have see how God raised up Saul to be king over HIS people.

We have seen God remove Saul because Saul would not fully follow HIS orders.

We have seen God raise up David as king, giving David HIS Holy Spirit.

We have seen David greatly sin against God even after he had been given the Holy Spirit.

But after David sinned, he repented.

God put a penality on David and all his life the sword followed David's house as a result of David's sin, but God did permit David to continue in the work to which he was appointed by God.

So there may be sin after we are born again ... but there can also be repentance if we do sin.

But if we continue without repentance, what hope do we have?

***

A woman came into our church group in 1980.

She displayed a good spirit to me, but I also saw some problems in this woman.

I saw in her spiritual gifts, word of wisdom & word of knowledgeBut this woman rarely shared these things with our church group unless I called it to her attention.

In 2019, she exploded against me and said it was as if I had been throwning rocks at her all these years.  She made many accusations against me and she could not control her tongue.

(railer:  to utter bitter complaint or vehement denunciation against another person)

Even after this, I told this woman she should repent.

But there has been no evidence of repentance from her and she is separated from us to this date.

If we should do evil against another person, we must repent, if that other person is still living.

***

I fear the doctrine of "once saved always saved", for I see in the book of Revelation that the name of one who was in the book of life can be blotted out by Jesus.

Revelation 3:5   He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

By this, I know we can be blotted out of the book of life.

I also see that God will turn us over to a reprobate mind if we continue to disregard what HE says.

(reprobate:  one who turns from truth and goes another way even in spite of evidence against what he is doing.  In such, God removes HIS judgment from this person to allow him to go in his own thinking.)

Romans 1:28-32    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

(implacable:  one who cannot be placated ... not to be appeased, molified, or pacified ... unforgiving, unrelenting ... inflexible, pitiless ... remorseless ... cannot be calmed or made less angry ...)

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

***

How can we hope to be saved if we continue in sins after we are born again?

Hebrews 10:26-31    For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

***

And after we do repent, we must go forward through faith in God.

But if we do sin and refuse to repent, what hope can there be for us?

So be quick to repent!

For sin is surely death to us ... and eternal death, if we stubbornly continue in our sins until we die.

Hymn: I know that my Redeemer lives

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  I know that my Redeemer lives
And ever prays for me;
A token of His love He gives,

A pledge of liberty.

2.  I know that my Redeemer lives,
A quick’ning Spirit He;
I know eternal life He gives—

Amazing grace—to me.

3.  I find Him lifting up my head;
He brings salvation near;
His presence makes me free indeed,

And He will soon appear.

4.   He wills that I should holy be:
What can withstand His will?
The counsel of His grace in me
He surely shall fulfill.

5.  Jesus, I hang upon Thy word:
I steadfastly believe
Thou wilt return and claim me, Lord,

And to Thyself receive.

v. 1   I know that my Redeemer lives
And ever prays for me;

Hebrews 7:25   Wherefore HE is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by HIM, seeing HE ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Romans 8:24-34    For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?   25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, WHO is even at the right hand of God, WHO also maketh intercession for us.

v. 2  I know that my Redeemer lives,
A quick’ning Spirit He;

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

v. 3  His presence makes me free indeed,
And He will soon appear.

Ephesians 1:12-14 ...  That we should be to the praise of HIS glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS glory.

John 8:31-31   Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18   But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep (die) in Jesus will God bring with Him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede)  them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Instruction in Righteousness: From Matthew 19

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, He departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

And great multitudes followed Him; and He healed them there.

The Pharisees also came unto Him, tempting Him, and saying unto Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

And He answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

(At the time of sexual intercourse, you become one flesh.  Therefore fornication is a very serious matter.  We know this by I Corinthians 6:15-16.  Paul explains that even if you have sex with an harlot you become one flesh.  Paul says:  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith He, shall be one flesh.)

Matthew 19:7   They say unto Him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

(The only scriptural reason for a man to divorce a faithful wife is fornication.  If a man divorces a faithful wife and she remarries, she commits adultery and the husband who divorced her is the cause of her adultery when she was faithful to him.  And the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.)

10 His disciples say unto Him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

11 But He said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that He should put His hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15 And He laid His hands on them, and departed thence.

16 And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And He said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which?

Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto Him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Then said Jesus unto His disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 When His disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

*****

27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

The New Heaven ... The New Jerusalem

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 1, Chapter 20
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Isaiah 65:17 ... For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

*****

Sometimes it is hard for us to relate to what it will be like in the new heaven and the new earth.

This current earth will not come to mind ... will not even be remembered.

I have a cousin who is always trouble ... always a grief because of her words which are not according to scripture.

There will be weeks, or even months, that I do not think of this cousin at all and I am happy. If I hear her words (if she calls and talks with me), then she keeps coming to my mind throughout the day and I am grieved.

There are other trouble makers who surface and when I "remember" them I grieve. Then in time, I forget them and they do not come to mind at all. That is when I can be happy, when I do not remember them.

In heaven, this current earth will not come to mind ... happiness, continual joy.

Isaiah 65:18-19  But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create:
for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people:
and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

*****

Revelation 21 ... And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard A GREAT VOICE out of heaven saying,

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Revelation 3:5   He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

***

Genesis 6:5-8    And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the Lord that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart.

And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth ME that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Romans 7:18   Paul said:  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:

***

Galatians 5:19-21    Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft (living in superstitions), hatred, variance (to vary, to argue to debate), emulations (to strive to outdo one another), wrath (to desire to see harm done to those considered enemies), strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

***

Romans 6:3-12    Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into HIS death?  Therefore we are buried with HIM by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of HIS death, we shall be also in the likeness of HIS resurrection:  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with HIM, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with HIM: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that HE died, HE died unto sin once: but in that HE liveth, he liveth unto God.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

I Corinthians 10:13    There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

***

I Corinthians 9:24-27    Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
