πŸ’₯ Podcast: God gives us HIS Spirit so we can know what HE wants us to do in the issues of this life

(This podcast was previously published on April 1, 2021)

God gives us HIS Spirit so we can know what HE wants us to do in the issues of this life.

We pray.  But then how do we know what God wants us to do?

The Holy Spirit will bring ideas to our minds.  Often the Holy Spirit will remind us of a scripture and by that scripture we can understand what to do.  Sometimes God will communicate with us by a dream.  And sometimes God will cause HIS Minister to speak a word to us and we understand by that Word.

* The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. (secular & spiritual)  John 14:26

* The Holy Spirit reminds us of everything Jesus has said to us.  John 14:26

* The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth.  John 16:13

* The Holy Spirit shows us things to come.  John 16:13

The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God and reveals to us the will of God by bringing thoughts to our mind.

I Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God communicates with each of HIS children today by HIS Spirit who brings ideas and thoughts and concepts of God to our mind to show us what to do.

Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We can tell which ideas are from God by the following characteristics:

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

πŸ’₯ Scriptures:

Psalms 60:11  (Prayer to God ... ) Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

 ***

Philippians 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord (the Word) alway: and again I say, rejoice.

***

Psalm 12:6  The words of The Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Isaiah 53:12  God says (prophecy about Jesus) ... Therefore will I divide HIM a portion with the great, and HE shall divide the spoil with the strong; because HE hath poured out his soul unto death: and HE was numbered with the transgressors; and HE bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Revelation 2:7
Jesus says ... He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Overcome:
- succeed in dealing with problems or difficulty
- conquer implies gaining mastery over
- succeed in controlling or dealing with something

Isaiah 55:7-9   Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and HE will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for HE will abundantly pardon.

8 For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, and MY thoughts than your thoughts.

πŸ’₯ John 17 (Reading through the Bible)

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee:

As Thou hast given Him (The Word) power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him.

And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ (The Word), whom Thou hast sent.

I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do.

And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was.

I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gavest them Me; and they have kept Thy word.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given Me are of Thee.

For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send Me (The Word).

***

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given Me; for they are Thine.

10 And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them.

(Jesus is glorified in us as we speak The Word, showing the way of God, and showing that given to us by God by HIS Spirit.)

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep through Thine own name (The Word) those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name (in The Word): those that Thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to Thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth.

***

18 As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me.

22 And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I (The Word) in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent Me.

26 And I have declared unto them Thy name (The Word), and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Approved by man or approved by God

(This podcast was previously published on March 28, 2021)

From heaven, Jesus calls HIS ministers to work in the church:

Ephesians 4:8;11-12  When HE (Jesus) ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men... And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

When a minister is called by Jesus from heaven, for the NT church, God teaches that minister by HIS Spirit, by the Holy Spirit.

I John 2:27-28   But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM.  And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when HE shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming.

Since I have been on internet, blog & podcasts, I have received multiple emails from men around the world who say they are pastors and they want me to be their "mentor".

But ministers are called by Jesus to be ministers and taught by Jesus what to do and what to say.

If a minister needs a human to supervise him, that man might not be called by God for the ministry.

Galatians 1:10-12  Paul says:   For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of (by) me is not after man. For I neither received it of (from) man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

I find many ministers do not know what ministry office they are called to do: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher.

These men are not likely called by Jesus to be ministers but they somehow try to put themselves into the ministry.

Jude describes it as follows:

Jude: vv. 17-19 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;  How that they told you there should be mockers (copiers) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.  These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Peter also warned us:

II Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Many ministers today are not called by God nor taught by the Holy Spirit of God.  They just put themselves into the ministry by going to a Bible College or by copying other men who do ministry work.

And Jesus said this concerning the end times.

Matthew 24:4-5  Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

*****

Ministry of apostle:  works with church doctrine, causing individuals to set their doctrines by New Testament Bible.  (Acts 15)

Ministry of prophet:  brings correction and instruction to the church to help individuals to get free from traps and to help them to stay free.  (Hosea 12:13)

πŸ’₯ John 16 (Reading through the Bible)

These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me (The Word).

But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

But now I go my way to Him that sent Me; and none of you asketh Me, Whither goest thou?

But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you.

And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they believe not on Me (The Word);

10 Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more;  (after Jesus went to the Father HE would speak by the Holy Spirit to the believer, thus "righteousness" would come to us by The Word carried by the Holy Spirit)

11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

12 I (The Word) have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify Me (The Word): for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

16 A little while, and ye shall not see Me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see Me, because I go to the Father.

17 Then said some of His disciples among themselves, What is this that He saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see Me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see Me: and, Because I go to the Father?

18 They said therefore, What is this that He saith, A little while? we cannot tell what He saith.

19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask Him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see Me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see Me?

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

(They would have sorrow when Jesus was taken to be crucified.  But after Jesus died and was resurrected and appeared to them before being taken into heaven, they knew no man could ever remove Jesus again from them for by HIS Spirit Jesus lived in them.)

***

23 And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name (by the Word by the will of God), He will give it you.

(I John 5:14-15   And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, HE heareth us:  And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.)

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

***

25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

26 At that day ye shall ask in My name (according to The Word): and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:  27 For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved Me (The Word), and have believed that I came out from God.

28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

29 His disciples said unto Him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. 30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

***

32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me (The Word) ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I (The Word) have overcome the world.

(Through HIM, The Word, we also overcome the world when we hear that Word from the Spirit of God and do it.)

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Do your assignment: Work in the place God has given you and God will bless you in "that" land

(This podcast was previously published on March 30, 2021)

God told Isaac to work in the land to which HE had assigned him, and HE would bless him in that land, in that assignment.  (Genesis 26:2-3)

I was working with a woman in a problem she was having and she had been struggling with for several months.

God brought the following scriptures to my mind which revealed to me the source of her problem:

Joshua 2:8   They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

II Corinthians 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The solution for her in this problem was for her to focus on doing her own assignment as wife and mother.  She had been thinking of that which others, her husband & daughter, were doing and might be doing, and her mind was troubled by such.  No doubt devils were bringing suggestions to her concerning that which others were doing and that was troubling her.  But devil is a liar so thoughts that were coming to her to trouble her were likely wrong.

What she needed to do was consider the assignment God had given to her and to do that work with all her heart:

* Help meet for her husband.

Genesis 2

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into HIS nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there HE put the man whom HE had formed.

18  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and HE (God) took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made HE a woman, and brought her unto the man.

She should pray often concerning "how she could help her husband" ... preparing meals and having his clothing ready for his work day. Keeping her house clean and orderly.  Keeping an atmosphere conducive to rest and peace. Refusing to focus on "lying vanities" concerning what he might be doing.  Instead doing her job as a wife and mother and busying herself with those activities.

Genesis 3

16 Unto the woman HE (God) said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

And I said to her:  "Your husband cannot understand spiritual things because he is not born again ...
so make him a chocolate pie."

She burst out laughing.

I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

And she needs to care for her 5 adult aged children and live a godly life in front of all persons.

When she does these things, fulfilling the assignment given to her by God, she will be blessed by God and she will be a blessing to all others who come across her path.

πŸ’₯ John 15 (Reading through the Bible)

I (The Word) am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in Me (The Word), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me (in The Word).

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me (The Word) ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.

As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My love.

10 If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of (from) My Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord.

If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.

21 But all these things will they do unto you for My name's sake, because they know not Him that sent Me.

22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23 He that hateth Me hateth My Father also.

24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both Me and My Father.

25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated Me without a cause.

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with Me from the beginning.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Jesus says: You shall be witnesses unto ME after the Holy Ghost is come upon you

(This podcast was previously published on April 2, 2021)

We can say many words, but when the Holy Spirit brings something to our mind and we speak "that word" we witness to God and Jesus and we know exactly what the problem is when we counsel another person.

We can speculate and avail nothing.  We can try to speak something and say nothing of real value.

But when we speak as the Holy Spirit gives us a word to speak, we speak truth and the gates of hell cannot stand against that word that is revealed from God by the Spirit.

Acts 1:8   Jesus says:  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Over and over, during this life, God brings us a word by HIS Spirit.  It is not a one time event.  The Holy Spirit lives in us and speaks the Word from God through us.  When that happens, the power of God is there in that word.

πŸ’₯ John 14 (Reading through the Bible)

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me (The Word).

In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I (The Word) am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (The Word).

(THE WORD is the way, the truth, the life.  Several months ago, I printed testimonies given by people in our church group.  The one thing in common is when they were truly born again, they had a great desire to read Bible and to learn of God ... going to God through The Word.")

If ye had known Me (The Word), ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto Him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me (The Word) hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.

(The Father said:  Let there be light.   THE WORD created light.  But it was God who said it.  God and the WORD are one.)

11 Believe Me that I (The Word) am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works' sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.

***

15 If ye love Me (The Word), keep My commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more; but ye see Me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I (The Word) am in My Father, and ye in Me, and I in you.

21 He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and He that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself (The Word) to him.

22 Judas saith unto Him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that Thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent Me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I (The Word) leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

***

28 If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for My Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me.

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Concerning people who fight against us as we try to do the will of God

(This podcast was previously published on March 31, 2021)

Matthew 10:32-39   Jesus says:   Whosoever therefore shall confess ME (The Word) before men, him will I confess also before MY Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny ME before men, him will I also deny before MY Father which is in heaven.

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than ME is not worthy of ME: and he that loveth son or daughter more than ME is not worthy of ME.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after ME, is not worthy of ME.

39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for MY sake shall find it.

But we must be certain it is God who has given us that idea or information, for the devil also brings ideas to us and so does our own flesh.

If you are fully persuaded the word you have heard is from God, you must do that word.  But we should not be surprised if our own household tries to stop us.

James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

John 5:30 Jesus says:   I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Neither can we do anything of our own selves.  We must hear from God by HIS Spirit before we do anything.
