One day, as I was walking
around the house, I kept thinking that that particular day was Sunday when, in
reality, it was Monday. I even
said a couple of times to myself in a low
voice that "today feels like Sunday."
At one point I was impressed with the thought that God was telling me to stop doing that and to focus on the truth...which was that "today is Monday." So I did.
I was also impressed with the importance of doing this in spiritual matters as well as secular things.
Instead of focusing on how we may "feel" about something, to stop when we find ourselves doing this, and refocus on what God has told us about the issue (truth).
