πŸ’₯ How are you viewing this world and yourself?

This world talks about the price of fuel, and food, and housing.

If we believe what Paul said in Philippians 4:19, how is any of that a concern to us?

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If we believe that, what difference does the price of gas, and food, and other things make?

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God once said to me, "If need be, I could put manna in your back yard."

If I need wisdom, God will give me wisdom showing me what to do.

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

When we belong to God, HE is our provision.

So we do not put our trust in man but in God.

And we live in peace by believing that which God has said!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ God works things out according to HIS will.

Luke 2

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

This might appear to be a terrible time for Joseph and Mary to have to travel from Galilee to Bethlehem because of her condition.  And in fact, Mary gave birth to Jesus while in Bethlehem.

But it was ordained by God that Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.  And this taxation pronounced by Caesar caused Mary and Joseph to be in Bethlehem when the baby was born.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

John 7

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,  If any man thirst, let him come unto ME, and drink.

38 He that believeth on ME, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 But this spake HE of the Spirit, which they that believe on HIM should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

40  Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is THE Prophet.

41 Others said, This is THE Christ.

But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?  42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

(The unbelievers thought they had proof in this that Jesus could not be Messiah)

50 Nicodemus (a believer) saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

(Jesus appeared to come out of Galilee so in their thinking HE could not be "THE Prophet". The Messiah.)

53 And every man went unto his own house.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In their own wisdom, the unbelievers deceived themselves about Jesus thinking themselves clever to realize Jesus was from Galilee and not from Bethlehem.

But they thought they knew something when they did not know the truth that Jesus was born in Bethlehem and was of the house and lineage of David:  (Luke 2:4)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I Corinthians 1

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in HIS presence.

30 But of HIM are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Unbelievers take pride in their wisdom by which they prove Jesus could not be Messiah.  And by their own wisdom they deceive themselves unto their own damnation.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Even when a person is wise "in his own eyes", if God wants that person, God gets that person.

Consider the apostle Paul.

Acts 26  (Paul's testimony to king Agrippa)

9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And HE said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in ME.

19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Paul went straight to Damascus as Jesus sent him.  Paul did not return to the high priest at Jerusalem.  Paul followed Jesus' instructions immediately.  And Paul belonged to Jesus immediately.

It was the will of God for Paul and God made it happen according to HIS will.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ As a Christian, my kingdom is not of this world.

Jesus said of HIMSELF:

John 18:36   MY kingdom is not of this world: if MY kingdom were of this world, then would MY servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is MY kingdom not from hence.

We are only temporary observers of this present world.  When Jesus returns we will be removed from this world and we will be given new spiritual bodies which are not subject to pain, or sorrow, or death, or other emotions of this fleshly body.

I Corinthians 15

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Blink:  That is how fast we will be removed from this fleshly body and changed into our new spiritual body.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When we have these concepts, we do not cling to this world and our human bodies as do people who know only this world.

And we know everything we can see with our natural eyes will be destroyed by God at the end of this world, so these things that will be destroyed by God do not have the importance to us that they once had before God revealed these things to us.

As Christians we are simply waiting for the return of Jesus when HE changes us into our new spiritual bodies and removes us from this present earth which will be destroyed by God.

2 Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Peter shows us that which is important to us as we wait for the return of Jesus.  When Jesus returns, we should be found by HIM to be in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Therefore we do not sorrow as the pagans sorrow for our hope is in the resurrection.

I Thessalonians 4:13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

We are not out there in graveyards decorating graves as the pagans who have no hope.

We know that dead person is asleep and doesn't even know what we are doing.

We are not focused on governments of men as if this present world is forever.  We work to live in peace, knowing this is very temporary.

James 4:14  ... For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Our hope is not in that which men of this world do but rather our hope and assurance is in what God does in that which pertains to us!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Therefore Jesus says to us:

John 14:27   Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I look at that which this world is currently doing and saying, but my kingdom is not of this world so I know it really doesn't matter to me for I am "dead to this world and alive to God" and HE will remove me from this world at some point in time.

I also know what the prophet Isaiah said as he spoke as the mouth of God:

Isaiah 65:17  For, behold, I (God) create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

At the end, this earth will not even come to my mind!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

So I see them fight, and argue, and protest, and try to get what they want for this world is their kingdom.

But this world is not my kingdom.

Colossians 3

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with HIM in glory.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

And I am assured of this:  As long as God chooses to leave me here on this earth, God will supply all my needs.   (Phil. 4:19)

If I need to move, God will move me.

If I need to stay still, God will have me stay still.

So as this world frets over things of this world, I know God will take care of me as long as HE chooses to leave me here.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Podcast: We are not unaware of the way the devil works, says Paul

2 Corinthians 2:11  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The devil will try to get us to carry a grudge, to get even with those who offend us, to hate and despise, to live in unforgiveness, to avenge the wrong done against us ... and to do the works of the flesh.

Romans 12

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The devil will try to get us to do the works of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

At no time does God approve adultery or fornication.

At the time of sexual intercourse, the 2 become one flesh:

I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The devil will try to stir us up to protest and fight for our "rights".  The devil tries to make us think evil is good.  For the devil is a liar and twists the truth because there is no truth in devils, says Jesus.

John 8:44  Concerning the devil:  He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

But Jesus says:

Matthew 5

39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

(For our kingdom is not of this world, as Jesus said HIS kingdom is not of this world.  (Jn. 18:36)  Therefore we do not fight to hold onto our possessions on this earth as does this world.  We know these things on this earth are only temporary and we have that which is eternal.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Some ministers are ministers of Satan:

I Corinthians 11

12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

(Satan's message may seem like light but it takes us into destruction if we choose to follow his message.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 10:10  Jesus says:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The devil often appears as an angel of "light", bringing "good ideas", but really to go these ways will be a way of death.

Proverbs 14:12   There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

James 3

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Matthew 11:30  Jesus says:

MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.

So if your plan is hard to do, complex, overly expensive you are not yoked to God's plan.

Stop and pray.

James 1:5

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

πŸ’₯ According to Bible: When a person dies, he falls asleep. When Jesus comes those in Christ will rise in their new spiritual bodies.

Death:

John 11  Jesus shows us what death is.

11 These things said HE (Jesus): and after that HE saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

12 Then said HIS disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus raises the dead in Christ from their sleep and when they are raised they are given new spiritual bodies.  We will not have these fleshly bodies in heaven.

First, Jesus raises the dead in Christ, giving them their new spiritual bodies.  Then Jesus sends HIS angels to gather the elect who are still alive on this earth and when the elect are raised they will be raised also in their new spiritual bodies.  We will not have these physical bodies in heaven.

I Corinthians 15:51-52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink:  that is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies)

When Jesus returns with a shout, the dead awaken out of their sleep.  And the trump of God sounds and the dead are raised from the dead in their new spiritual bodies which are incorruptible

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

After the dead in Christ are raised, then Jesus sends HIS angels to this earth to gather the elect who are still alive on this earth.  Before they are raised and taken into heaven they are changed out of these current fleshly bodies and are changed into new spiritual bodies which are incorruptible.

Matthew 24

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And they will be taken into heaven in their new spiritual bodies to meet those who were dead and have been raised from the dead and taken into the air, and all will be with Jesus and will be taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The new heaven and new earth:

Revelation 21:1-5

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Our role as Christians on this earth.

As Christians, we are very much like "strangers and pilgrims" as we wait for Jesus to remove us from this earth and take us into heaven wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Like Jesus, "Our kingdom is not of this world."  (John 18:36)

We are as lights in this world for we do not live as this world lives.

We do not make this world a better place as some strive to do.  (The world speaks to the flesh of man while we deal with the individual spirit showing godliness by our lives.)

We are witnesses to God as we live godly lives here.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

This world will grow worse and worse, says the apostle Paul.

2 Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Paul also says the end times will be "perilous".  And Paul describes men as follows:

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus says it will get so bad that even the elect would not be saved, but for the elect's sake the days at the end will be shortened.

Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

One day, I was reading 2 Peter 3 and God explained this to me:

"Righteousness is in the new heaven and new earth.  You will never be able to make this present earth righteous.  It will be destroyed for its sins."

Some people think they will make this present earth righteous.  But no matter what we do, sins get worse and worse and are flaunted openly by the world in front of our eyes.

Paul told us what we are to do as we live on this earth:

2 Timothy 3

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing OF WHOM thou hast learned; (It is God who taught us these truths.)

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In the 1980's, I visited in Paris, France.   I was sitting on a park bench and it was so lovely and peaceful.  Then the Holy Spirit said to me:  "It's peaceful here because you don't know the language and the words they speak sound lovely to you."

In USA, I know the language and when I hear what people of this world say, they often seem strange to me, for though I live here I am not one of them because I am of God.  Therefore I don't participate in many of their things that they cherish, because I am as a stranger and pilgrim here, just waiting till Jesus returns and removes me from this earth.

I don't participate in their protests and rallies which they think will make this world better.  I don't vote in their elections either for the apostle John said:

II John

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.  (in heaven from God)

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

But I do pray for the kings and rulers for this is what the apostle Paul said to do:

1 Timothy 2

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In politics you are taught to hate the opposite party.  You are taught to put your trust in the party that you elect.

But I know this world will not be made better by governments of men.  People often think the government will make their lives better on this earth.  But we are not focused on this earth and God tells us, "having food and raiment let us therewith be content." (I Tim. 6:8)  And as a Christian, I look to God to provide all my need as the apostle Paul told us to do.  (Phil. 4:19)

And I know I am as a stranger here just waiting.

As I pray for whichever party is in office, I believe God will help me to live in peace until I can be redeemed.

I see it compatible with the Bible to live here as if I am a visitor, just waiting to be removed by Jesus.

I see it to be important to pray for rulers.

And I see it important to live in peace, personally.

But I know by the Bible it will get worse and worse here and men will be increasingly violent as they were in the days of Noah and sin will be rampant until the end when the wrath of God is poured out on this earth because of the sin.

But if the time is not shortened, even the elect would perish in the end.  But for the elect's sake the days will be shortened!

Hope in God.  Trust in God, for you can really trust God.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ With God nothing is impossible. (Lk. 1:37)

God created the heaven and the earth and all people and things.

When God speaks to us, nothing shall be impossible!

Keep before you "that word" spoken by God to you.  Believe that word.

Podcast: The Sower soweth the word

Luke 8

5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold.

And when HE (Jesus) had said these things, HE cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

9 And HIS disciples asked HIM, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And HE said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When we hear the word of God, it is important for us to do that Word, so it becomes a part of us.

Also we "meditate" upon that word, thinking of it until it becomes strong enough that we later act upon the instructions given in that word.

Acts 17

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12
Therefore many of them believed;

They received the Word with all readiness of mind ... but they went away and searched the scripture to see if that which was preached was true.

When I went to church in the 1980's, I made a habit of copying down each scripture spoken by the preacher and when I got home I re-read those scriptures allowing God to work these verses into my heart.

God said the following to Joshua and I knew these scriptures applied to us also in the NT church.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

And when the scripture was strong enough in me, I did the instruction of the scripture after thinking on the scripture for days or even weeks.

James 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Here is a scripture each of us must be careful to do each day:

Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

If we do this scripture, the following happens:

Philippians 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

πŸ’₯ God is a spirit and wherever we are God is.

Barbara Preston, member of the body of Christ

God is with us whithersoever we go ... because God's Holy Spirit is in us and teaches us the way of God so we always have God with us.

Reading this on the blog today reminded me of early one morning before dawn a while back when I was lying in bed talking to God about something and HE answered me and gave me the information I needed.

I don’t remember what it was about but I do remember being impressed with how wonderful it is that God is always with us through His Holy Spirit.

And how it doesn’t matter where we are or what time of the day or night it is, He is there with us and hears us and helps us!

πŸ’₯ A great affirmation of faith in God: "Be it unto me according to Thy Word." (Lk. 1:38)

The angel of God has just told the virgin Mary that she will have a child of the Holy Ghost and Mary replies:  "Be it unto me according to Thy Word."  (Lk. 1:38)

Each time I read this scripture, I marvel at the faith in God and the simple acceptance shown by Mary of the word of God spoken to her showing God's will for her.

Many times God has spoken to me by HIS Spirit telling me things to come and telling me what I can do when I think it impossible to do such except for the fact of hearing the Word telling me:  "You can do this." And because of that Word, I was able to do "this thing" that was impossible for a human to do.

When we hear HIS Word, all things are indeed possible to us!

This is faith and the essence of faith.  Because God spoke this Word to us we are able to do this thing.

But to me, there is no greater exclamation of faith in God than the statement:

"Be it unto me according to Thy Word."

πŸ’₯ Galatians 1

10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Rejoice in the Lord, in the Word.

Live in peace.

On this present earth we are as strangers and pilgrims  (Heb. 11:13-14)  as we wait for the redemption that comes through Jesus where we are taken into the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Like Jesus, "Our kingdom is not of this world."  (John 18:36)

While we view that which they do in this world, we are not of this world.

Romans 12:2    And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Podcast: Saved by fire: what that means

I Corinthians 3

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (The Word of God).

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

πŸ’₯ By the Holy Spirit, Jesus lives in us today.

Acts 1  (Jesus with the 11 apostles after the resurrection and before HIS ascension into heaven)

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith HE, ye have heard of ME.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when HE had spoken these things, while they beheld, HE was taken up; and a cloud received HIM out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as HE went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen HIM go into heaven.

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

And the eleven apostles waited with the other disciples at Jerusalem for the coming of the power of God through the Holy Spirit.  For they would receive power after the Holy Spirit came to them and then they would be witnesses to Jesus to the uttermost parts of the earth, as Jesus had told them.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Even before the crucifixion, Jesus had instructed them concerning the work of the Holy Spirit when HE came to them:

John 14:26  Jesus said:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

14 HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Hebrews 1

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;

In the Old Testament only a few people were given the Holy Spirit and the people had to go to those people, the prophets, to inquire concerning the will of God.

In the New Testament all who belong to God are given the Holy Spirit so they hear directly from God by the Holy Spirit of God who lives in them.

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God is with us whithersoever we go ... because God's Holy Spirit is in us and teaches us the way of God so we always have God with us.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and is the Comforter.

The Holy Spirit does the following in us:

πŸ’₯  The Holy Spirit teaches us all things, secular and spiritual:  The Holy Spirit of God searches the heart of God to reveal the will of God to us concerning the issues of this life so we know what to do.  (I Cor. 2)

πŸ’₯  The Holy Spirit reminds us of all that Jesus has said to us in both scriptures and dreams and words directly from God from heaven:  This is a great advantage for we are given the "heart of God" and the very Spirit of God to live inside us.  (Eze. 36)

πŸ’₯  The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth:  One step at a time, one step at a time, it is enough.  The Holy Spirit brings to our mind something to do.  Then we will be reminded of something else.  (This is like road signs on a highway.  We know the way for we follow the WORD brought to our mind by God though the Spirit of God WHO lives in us.)

πŸ’₯  The Holy Spirit shows us things to come:  When I fell at my house in Texas on December 6, 2018, the ambulance workers were rolling me past my front door when I heard these words from the Holy Spirit of God bringing this information directly to my mind:  "You'll never see this house again."  Therefore I had faith to put my house up for sale and to enter into the way God had prepared for me.  I've often been shown things to come as I have lived on this earth and by the information given me by the Holy Spirit I can go forward in times of change in faith and full assurance, resting in that Word given by God by HIS Spirit.

Podcast: To guide our feet in the way of peace (Luke 1:79)

At the end of this world, when God will judge the world and the apostate church, the message for us is to seek peace and pursue it.

It is not that we agree with the world or the evil doers to maintain peace.  Rather we maintain peace by speaking the word of God and allowing the world to depart from us.

Scriptures concerning peace:

2 Peter 3:10-14  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 14:19   Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

2 Timothy 2:22    Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 12:18-21   If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

There are some people we cannot be around and maintain our own peace.  They trouble us with their words and their acts.  To have peace, we have to avoid certain persons.  They are like thorns in our sides and pricks in our eyes.

II Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

πŸ’₯ Prophets are used by God to warn the church and also to correct the church.

One of the two offices God has given to me in the ministry, is prophet.

As you read the writings, you will often see me warn the church so traps can be avoided.

God gave me the following dream:  A driverless stagecoach pulled by 4 wild out of control horses was heading straight toward a deep cliff.  Inside the coach, was a "silly woman" who was totally unaware of the pending doom.

Often this is the case.

exhortation means:  to urge earnestly by advice or warning

I am constantly doing this in the blog and podcast because I am one of the NT prophets given to work in the church today.

Ephesians 4  (After Jesus ascended into heaven HE gave ministers to the NT church)

11 And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Deception is rampant today in religious circles.

Therefore NT prophets will warn you.
