Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Several times in the Bible we read of "uncleanness" ... What does this mean?
Paul writing to the church said ...
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: 21And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. II Cor. 12
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal. 5
One form of "uncleanness" is to defraud your brother ...
That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 8He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. I Thess. 4
If you "defraud" another person you "despise" God ...
defraud: illegally obtain money from someone ... to cheat

When men defraud you ...
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In 1980, I published 2 small booklets. One booklet sold out almost immediately. Unknown to me at the time, the publisher reprinted the booklet and sold the second printing in churches without telling me. He apparently kept the money for himself. He was a minister and owned a publishing house for Christian books. I did learn of this second publishing and I considered what he had done. I decided to do the following.
Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? I Cor. 6
I believed it was the will of God for me to do nothing and just "take wrong" and let him have the money. I didn't say anything.
The 2nd printing was in 1981. Very soon after that, God said to me, "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God." Over and over I heard this. I had been speaking at a church in Hobbs, New Mexico (USA), and was returning home when I heard this. I knew it was a scripture. I looked it up.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. I Peter 4
At that time, God showed me sins being committed by various ministers, among them Robert Tilton, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker ... I delivered messages to them urging them to turn from their sins. Eventually they were exposed before all nationally in public TV newscasts.
I was also brought out of the faith moment church groups and God began showing me problems with their doctrine. One major problem is they teach all good is from God and all bad is from the devil.
Concerning Jesus and the crucifixion ...
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. Mt. 27
The faith moment would have taught an earthquake to be bad. But this earthquake turned the centurion and others to God. I saw that we, of ourselves do not always know good from bad. Therefore this faith movement doctrine could not be correct. I also saw other problems with the faith movement doctrine and I spoke about these doctrine problems on radio coast-to-coast. I had once been relatively well known in that movement and overnight I was despised for that which I spoke showing errors in the doctrine.
One thing, I remember thinking at the time that publisher (who was faith moment preacher) would no longer try to sell my books as he had done for my name was now poison in the faith moment so he wouldn't dare print and sell them. I laughed.
I Thess 4
As I thought through all these things, I thought of how those who follow God and do HIS will appear with Christ in glory. And I prayed that I would be one of those who appears with Christ in glory.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Col. 3
When we try to do things according to the will of God, we set our affection on things above. We are interested in pleasing God while we live on this present earth. This is more important than the money or fame we might gain if we go another way. And like Jesus, we endure various things on this earth because we do not want to deny the scriptures.

Rise of corrupt ministers ...
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I've seen several corrupt ministers fall (Robert Tilton, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim Bakker)... while other corrupt ministers continue in their works and rise higher and higher on this earth. I was talking to God about this and this is what I heard from the Spirit of God.
Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. I Tim. 5
With some, their sins will be exposed while they live on this earth and then God will also deal with them at the judgment seat of Christ.
But with others their sins will follow them to the judgment seat of Christ where God will expose their sins.

Promotion from God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Psalm 75:6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Promotion usually seems "good" to us, while being demoted does not. But God knows everything about the matter, both now and in the future. He knows if promotion would be good for us. He knows if promotion would actually put us in the way of harm or evil (such as compromise or corruption). He knows if promotion would continually keep our flesh stirred up.
God knows everything about us and everything about the entire situation, and He judges what is best for us ... he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
At one point when I was working at FedEx, I was told that in order to keep the job level I had at that time (E3), I would need to report directly to both a vice president and managing director in Memphis (I live and worked in Colorado Springs). Otherwise, I would need to take a demotion. I prayed, asking God what I should do. After considering everything brought to my mind after praying, I believed I was being led to take the demotion.
Being demoted was hard on my flesh initially. However, many times over the next several years, when seeing the pressure people at the E3 job level were under and how much travel many of them had to do, I thanked God that I was no longer in that position. I believe this was the best thing for me in the situation, and continue to be grateful to God in this.

What is the Sabbath?
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
One Sunday, I was in grocery store in check out line. The woman ahead of me began speaking to the cashier. Obviously they attended the same church group. This woman said to cashier, "I can't believe you are working on Sunday." The cashier seemed ashamed as she told the woman that her boss called that someone was sick and they really needed her. The woman continued to chastise the cashier, saying, "Well ... I just can't believe you would agree to work on Sunday." I finally spoke up and said to the woman, "What are you doing buying groceries on Sunday if this is what you believe?"
Certainly we are free to work on Sunday ... We are free to buy groceries on Sunday.
The Sabbath in the Old Testament was an example of ceasing from your own works. Today we cease daily from our own works as we turn to God trying to do only HIS will daily.
Heb. 4 ...
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief

Great noise
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. II Peter 3
An important factor is all this will happen with a great noise ...
If it happens in the middle of the night and you are sleeping, you won't miss it. There will be a great noise accompanying it.

God puts His laws into our hearts
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
God said ...O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear ME, and keep all MY commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Deut. 5:29
In the New Covenant, God put such an heart into HIS people ...
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. Heb. 8
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. I Jn. 2:27

Provision from God
Joseph Meriweather ... pastor
I was thinking how GOD has provided for me all these years ... before I was born again , even up to now. Also those days when I thought I wasn't going to make it. Now that he saved me by his grace I must believe that there is noting too hard for Him to do . He knows whats best for me ,and all his people.
Matthews 6. -33 says But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD ,and his righteousness ; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Moses question GOD about his provision... in Numbers 11.' 21-23 And Moses said , The people , among whom I am ,are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said ,I will give them flesh ,that they may eat a whole month . 22. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them , to suffice them? 23. And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD,S HAND waxed short?thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not . The LORD provided quails from the sea . Also Paul in Philippians .4.;19 But my GOD shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by JESUS.

No unclean thing in us
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Deut. 23:14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
When reading this today, I thought of how today we, who have been born again, have the Holy Spirit living in us and are to be holy (pure and blameless before God) in all aspects of our lives.
1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Elect of God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I Peter 1 ... Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Such an hour as you think not
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Mt. 24:44
As I was thinking about the above scripture, and what kind of situation this might describe, I heard one word, "Peace". It will be a time of "peace". For in a time of "peace" it would seem everything would be okay.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. I Thess. 5

Prospering in all you do
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psa. 1
Everything you do will "prosper" ... turn out well ... If you walk in the "law of the Lord" ...
But if you turn to man for counsel and go in the way of man, this is not the case. You curse yourself when you turn to man rather than turning to God.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Deut. 28
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Psa. 34:10
"They that seek the Lord" would be those who turn to God continually saying: "What do YOU want me to do about this?" Following what you believe HE shows you in each issue of this present life are those who seek God and follow HIM
Knowing the Bible and the way of God by HIS Spirit, constantly recreating yourself in the image of God by the Holy Scriptures as you deal with various issues of life one step at a time sets you in the path of God.
My cousin delights in saying, "My God would never do that." But this cousin does not know the Holy Scriptures therefore "her god" is the god of her own mind and what she thinks rather than the God of the Holy Scriptures which is the true God. She follows the image of her own fleshly mind.
But those of us who belong to God are recreated in HIS image day by day as we read the Bible and conform ourselves to the Holy Scriptures, doing that which we see to do by the Spirit of God that is in those of us who truly belong to God.
And whatsoever we do will prosper, turn out well, when we follow God by His Spirit that dwells in us.

Boasting in God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Psa. 44:8
They boast in what they have done or in what other men have done or are doing.
But we boast in that which God has done.
Light vs. darkness.

Put away the evil from among you
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Deut. 17:2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the Lord thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the Lord thy God, in transgressing his covenant, 3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel: 5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die. 6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. 7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
God gave instruction to deal very strongly against those who did what is wicked in the sight of God .... stoning them to death. By doing this the evil would be put away from among the people, rather than being gradually accepted and increasing among them.
How different are the ways of the flesh. Man tries to justify and protect the evil-doer. We see strong evidence of the results of this as sexual sins, even homosexuality, are increasingly accepted as "normal" by the world today.
But those of us who belong to God are led another way ... to expose and deal with the evil. Paul dealt strongly with fornication that was reported within the Church, and warned that, like leaven, this would spread it not purged .....
1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Paul also dealt strongly when incorrect doctrines were brought to the Church ...
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? 8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. 9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. 12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

God makes a way when there is no way
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Judges 15 ... (concerning Samson)
And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. 15And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. 16And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. 17And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.
18And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? 19But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; Judges 15
God made a way when there was no way.
Recently it seemed we might operate that month at a deficit ... We never operate at a deficit. It really concerned me.
I was reading in the following and I saw how simple money matters are to God ...
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 26Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. 27Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. Mt. 17
I relaxed considerably when I saw this, realizing what a small matter money is to God and how simply HE provides for us in our "need".
When the bills came in that month there was plenty of money to pay the bills and we had no deficit.
