Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Something happened a few days ago which really put me to the test.
Finally, I just decided to look at scripture ... read Bible. I started in Psalm and began reading. I got to Psalm 2:12 ... and Psalm 4:5 ... and began to focus on what these verses were telling me to do and I began doing what they said to do ... and everything began to clear up again when I did this.
Psalm 2:12 ... Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Psalm 4:5 ... Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
To "put" tells me to make a deliberate choice ... make a deliberate action ...
I have a choice.
And what is "The Lord" saying:
- "I will not fail thee nor forsake thee." (Joshua 1)
- "Have not I commanded thee?" (Joshua 1)
Is it God who commanded me?
I began writting down things God has done in my life:
- taken into heaven twice and merged into body of Jesus ... made one with Word of God
- Voice of angel of Lord speaking to me in a dream: "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" putting me on radio
- Putting me on Internet by dream
- Telling me by Holy Spirit to exhort church with the scriptures sent in to Internet site
And consider instruction in Heb. 3 and Heb. 10 concerning exhorting church ...
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb. 3
exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb. 10
So by act of will, I got up and wrote this ...
It is often an act of our own will ...
And I as I read Bible, the following scriptures stood out to me also:
Heb. 3:1-2 ... Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; 2Who was faithful to him that appointed him,
As Jesus was faithful to HIS assignment ... I need to be faithful to God who gave me this assignment.
And Jesus said: Lo, I come to do They will, O God ... Heb. 10:9
This is what I should do also ... It is deliberate ... a choice ... action by choice.
Heb. 10:14 ... For by one offering (HIMSELF) he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Jn. 10 ... My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.
I hear HIS voice. I follow HIS words to me. I do not follow voice of strangers for I know the difference between HIS voice and voice of strangers because I belong to HIM. No one, no thing can pluck me out of HIS hand. (happy, happy, happy)
You see, it is up to each of us to deliberately put our trust in THE LORD. And work to hold onto our faith.
If we belong to HIM we know the difference between HIS voice and the voice of the enemy. We deliberately follow HIS voice when we belong to HIM.
(Providing daily encouragement for the body of Christ by the Spirit of God to help the church in the end times.)

Suffering with Christ
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
The apostle Paul had a desire to be a part of "the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ."
Paul said: Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; Phil. 3
Each of us who belong to Christ suffer with HIM.
We suffer each time we see evil. We suffer when we know the Word of God and see people (especially church people) who are going in a way opposite to the Word of God on the issue.
Don't we suffer over the many remarriages after divorce today? Do we approve these? God forbid. There are many church doctrines set up to approve remarriage after divorce but those of us who are of God will be troubled and we will hold to the scriptures on the matter without explaining them away as many churches do today. (Please read: Divorce/remarriage: What the Bible teaches.)
Each time we hold to the way of God, resisting other ways, we enter into the suffering of the cross of Christ. For people will reject us and speak evil of us when we do this. Even people in the church groups will strike out against us.
David said: Psa. 55 ... For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: 13But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. 14We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
It is especially hard when it is someone from a church group who strikes out against you.
But this is just a part of suffering for the sake of the Word of God as Jesus suffered. Peter explains it to us in I Peter 3 ... But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 17For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts ... we return to God in prayer and focus on that which God has shown us about the subject. We choose to believe that which God has said and we cling to that.
I Peter 4 ... Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Peter also told us not to think some strange thing has happened when they strike out against us after we speak the Word of God. (This happens often in church groups when you speak the word of God.)
I Peter 4 ... Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Jesus explained it as follows: Lk. 6 ... Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. 23Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
When a divorced woman in Pam's church group was planning to remarry, Pam went to her with the scripture showing this woman she would commit adultery if she remarried. The woman said to Pam, "I don't care what the Bible says ..."
Then Pam went to the man who was planning to marry this divorced woman and showed him the scripture.
Then Pam went to a bridesmaid and showed her the scripture. The bridesmaid said she knew it would be wrong but if she didn't participate someone else would. (What an amazing explanation ... to go along with wrong anyway?)
The single's class at this church group turned against Pam. At first Pam didn't understand. Then a woman in the church group came to Pam and told her God knew she was suffering because she did HIS will in this matter.
When we hear of such sufferings, we shouldn't say, "I'm so sorry they did this to you." What we should feel is great joy, for this shows Pam belongs to God and she will have great reward in heaven! Lk. 6: Jesus said "Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy."

Scripture shared by body of Christ
Mt. 5:3 ... Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
What does this mean? poor in spirit? ... I asked God. and HE explained it to me.
Here is an example of a man poor in spirit ...
Mt. 8 ... And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Concerning the day of judgment, Jesus said: Mt. 7 ... Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
These people came telling Jesus of all their works, indicating because of these works they were worthy.
Our works do not make us worthy of salvation.
Some of us know what we were before we were born again and we know we were not worthy to be saved yet God, by HIS own will, revealed Jesus to us, bringing us into His kingdom in spite of our works.
Another example comparing those thinking their works make them worthy vs. the poor in spirit who know they are not worthy of salvation ... Lk. 18 ... Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
These examples explain what it means to be "poor in spirit".
The man who feels justified because of what he has done is not justified. The man who knows he is unworthy of salvation yet is saved because of the will of God and chosen because of the will of God is poor in spirit and inherits in the kingdom of heaven.
Woe to the person who has followed his parents to church and has done everything taught by the church group and feels he is okay because he has done these things.
It is that person who knows he is only okay because of what God has done that is justified in the sight of God.

Why are we doing this?
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Do you ever just sit and think, "Why are we doing this?"
After I was born again, I was with 2 Baptist women. They were talking about their plans to go out on Memorial Day (USA Holiday) and decorate graves. I listened to them, and then I asked, "How is it a Christian is supposed to do such as thing as decorate graves."
When I would go eat with two women from the bridge center, they would often order alcoholic drinks before dinner. (I had no problem with that. I didn't order such because alcoholic makes me feel bad.) But what troubled me was before they drank any of their drink, they clicked their classes together. WHY? I was drinking water but they tried to include me. But I didn't join them in this. I don't approve them. I don't want to be a part of their acts. I don't want to do something when I don't know what it means. So I just avoided their glasses when they turned to me and tried to include me. I made no effort at all to be a part of them.
I had the same type of problem when they passed around crackers and grape juice at church and called it "The Lord's supper". I did participate in this for awhile when I attended church meetings but I never liked it and I had no understanding at all of what we were trying to do. I disliked it. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I knew I Cor. 11 said we were to examine ourselves and often it was taught we were to examine ourselves before we partook of the Lord's supper. God taught me in time. This cracker/grape juice has nothing at all to do with the Lord's supper. The Lord's supper is partaking of the Word of God. And by the Word of God we are to examine ourselves. And by the Word of God we are to make appropriate changes to our lives and if we fail to do this and continue to read Bible we bring "damnation" on ourselves. Paul says, For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die). I Cor. 11
These three subjects are the same: clicking glasses together .. decorating graves ... taking crackers and grape juice at church and calling it the Lord's supper.
These are traditions set up by men and not by God.
Jesus once told them: Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Mk 7 13
Whether it is a tradition of the people of the world or a tradition set up in a church group, we should be considering why am I doing this ... what does it mean ... is it really of God.
Peter explained: Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. I Peter 1
By the blood of Jesus we are redeemed from the world and the ways of the world and certainly from the traditions in church groups when those traditions are set up by man.
Certainly we should consider: Why am I doing this?
It is a very serious matter to go along with people and their traditions whether in the world or in the church gatherings. For to participate in such with them, says you are "one of them" ... and if the deed is not of God it is evil and therefore you will become part of their evil even when it is in a church group.
II Jn. ... Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
1 John 2:15-17 ... Love not the world, neither the things that are in
the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in
him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the
lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of
the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he
that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus prayed ... I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Jn. 17
The apostle John wrote: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. I Jn. 5
When I turn on TV and see commercials where people are lusting after cars and computers and various items I am amazed. It seems such a big deal to them. Do they really that it that seriously I wonder. I suppose they do.
We, who are of God, see things another way for we have been recreated on this earth. We feel the temporary aspect of everything here. We know the best wine on this earth cannot compare with the wine we will have at the wedding of the Lamb in heaven. No jewel on this earth will compare with that God had prepared for us.
But they see only this present world.
But the whole world lies in wickedness.
Wicked is defined as that which will harm or is likely to harm.
They see it is life. We see it as a type of death.
The love of God lies in doing the commandment of God. This is real wealth. And it last forever.
In the book of Revelation, there is a scripture which speak of the end of time. Time ends on this earth. But that which continues has no time for there is no end. Thus the things of God have no end.

Friend of the world is enemy of God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
James 4:4 ... know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
We make ourselves into the enemy of God when we try to be a friend to the world.
The world loves sex outside of marriage. Do we approve that? NO! God forbid. How then can we be friends with those who go about seeking sex outside of marriage.
To be a friend means to support another in his or her activities.
Are we a friend to homosexuals/lesbians? Do we run around and keep company with these people? To do so would be to support them, approving them.
I don't often correct a person of the world, but neither do I run around with such.
To try to make ourselves a friend of the world causes us to be an enemy of God.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:129-130 ... Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my
soul keep them. 130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth
understanding unto the simple.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In looking at Isaiah 11, the prophet spoke of God making a "highway" for the people of God. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. Isaiah 11:16
When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, HE was very precise in leading them. He used a cloud by day to show them when to move and where to move. And God used a pillar of fire by night to direct them.
I was thinking about the "highway" for us today and how we, also, have very specific instructions.
Because of the examples and instruction in the Bible, I knew to get out of debt and stay out of debt. This has guided me for 30+ years. If I didn't have the money, I just didn't do the work. I knew to be content with that which I have. The way of the world is to charge now and pay later. I know, because of various scriptures, that this is not the way of God. It is a way to satisfy flesh. It is unwise.
We know to avoid fornication. Fornication is never approved by scripture. So we can see by scripture to flee fornication.
We know the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Mt. 5:32) We see by scripture that if the woman leaves her husband, she is to remain unmarried or return to her husband. (I Cor. 7) So women have an important guide in this subject. We see by Mt. 5:32, if a man divorces a faithful wife and she remarries, he will be the cause of her adultery. (Churches often explain away these scriptures but when a person really wants to see truth, these show truth.)
Scriptures show me to avoid fleshly activities which would glorify me.
It is like there is a highway and there are roads leading off the highway. But if I stay on the highway without turning off, I will avoid many unnecessarily troubles.
Jesus explained it this way: Mt. 7 ... Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Vain manner of life received by tradition
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
There are many vain (futile/senseless) things that go on in life and especially at the Christmas season. Traditions are passed down from one generation to another and have a type of bondage to the flesh which is not of God.
Peter said ... And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. I Peter 1
Peter speaks of "vain conversation" ... vain manner of life ... received by tradition from your fathers.
But we belong to Jesus now. We have been freed from traditions of men.
Be careful. Think of what you are about to do. There are many futile things being done right now. Just know you do not have to participate in these traditions. And you should not participate if you feel they are questionable.
Turn to God.

Enduring temptation
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
James 1 ... Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
A temptation is strong desire to do something that is either wrong or unwise.
We might be "free" to do something and we might even be attracted to do that thing but it might be unwise.
For example: In my case, I find it unwise to take on certain projects around the house, especially if these projects require another person to come in and do the work. The reason this is unwise for me is I have a call of God on my life which requires me to keep myself free so I will have the time and strength to meditate in scripture and do these exhortations. If I get involved in more projects I am unable to focus on Bible. When a water line became disconnected from a commode of course I had to fix it. But I have some old furniture that needs upholstery. One chair is split down the middle and stuffing is coming out. I've resisted doing anything about this. I just don't want to be drawn away. There are some things we can live with and some things which must be done.
Certainly there are unwise things that tempt us. It might be unwise to eat certain foods when those foods disagree with you. In cases such as this, I think it is appropriate to pray to God for help when we are tempted. When I've done this, often God has called a substitute food to my mind and that satisfies me without harming me.
Then there are things that are wrong ...sometimes we are put in a position where we could take advantage of another person concerning money. Each time I've found myself in such a position, when I have wanted to hold onto that money, I have prayed and have been led to pay the worker what is fair. It is not just a matter of paying what you can get by with paying. What is fair?
In the Bible, the term "uncleanness" often refers to taking advantage of another person.
I Thess. 4 ... That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
We must be very careful in how we deal with other people, not taking advantage of them.
Recently my sound guy said he wanted to "clean up" my sound equipment. He wanted to get everything moved to the center of the TV and out of a corner in a more orderly way. He wanted to clean up cables and get them straight. I let him send a man to do this. I insisted on paying the daily salary of this man to compensate David for his workers time away from other work. Then I had it brought to my mind that David was going to be losing money by sending this man to help me because David would be losing the profit he would obtain from other jobs. David wasn't making any profit from my job. So I sent money to David to compensate him for this loss of profit. I could have taken advantage of David. But when I was reminded of him not making profit from other jobs that he could have been doing, I felt it was God reminded me of this and it would be wrong not to compensate David in this matter. So I did.
We become "unclean" if we take advantage of other people and cause them loss ... and we become unclean if we "defraud" another ... Defraud means to cheat. Defraud could come by deception. Defraud could come by their willingness to suffer loss as in the case of David.
I would defraud the church if I failed to share with you the various things God has taught me so I am very careful to share with you, not wanting to defraud the church.
There are a few times I have been defrauded of money by unfair charges but I did not try to recover loss. I just paid the bill. God will repay me and settle with them in such cases. But I don't not want to be guilty of defrauding another.
Eph. 5 ... For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
There are many other temptations of the flesh. In each case, the first thing to do is to turn to God in prayer, asking Him for help.
Often HE will show how the door is being opened for that temptation and what to do to avoid the temptation. If we do what HE shows us, it will work.
I Cor. 10:13 ... There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
James 1 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 12:6 ... The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
A few days ago, I had scripture in I Cor. 11 called to my attention and was "directed" to share this with the church, which I did ... You will find it on the first page of our blog on the right hand side in the listing of various teachings ... entitled: "Head covering for a woman according to the Bible"
I received this teaching back in the 80's and shared it many times with the church. It has been a long time since I have shared this and it is important. But at the time I was reminded of it, there was "another voice" which was negative.
This made me even more certain that I needed to share this teaching again.
I Cor. 11 ... But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
Paul says to the church ... And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
In the USA, more and more, we see woman with hair cut like a man's hair. Some are as short as men's hair. We see football players with shoulder length hair although most football players still wear men's hair cuts.
When watching TV a few days ago, I began to "bristle" at a man wearing shoulder length hair. Then I was reminded that I Cor. 11 is speaking to the church, not to the world. I Cor. 11 ... Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. (It is unlikely these long haired football players are going to be praying or prophesying.)
But for the church who does pray, and some prophesy, we heed I Cor. 11.
I have an acquaintance who is a devout Catholic. I shared scripture concerning "call no man father" (Mt. 23) with her a few years ago. She thanked me for the message. She continued in Catholic church. I knew she did not heed the message for had she done that she would have ended up coming out of Catholic church.
She was at my house recently. All of a sudden she said, "What did you do to your hair? It's really wonderful." (I had missed my hair cut appointment and at the time she said how wonderful my hair was, it was a little longer than usual.) I told her I didn't do anything to it. I just missed my hair cut appointment. This woman wears her hair very short, sometimes in the back it is like a man's hair cut.
It was after this time with this woman I was reminded to share I Cor. 11 with the church. I didn't especially want to do that, probably because I would have to change a little by returning to I Cor. 11 and begin wearing my hair a little longer. Which is exactly what happened.
The Word of God changes the church. And we know it is very pure! And we who are of God want to honor THE WORD.

The anointing in us teaches us
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I Jn. 2 ... These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Even in the days of the early church, the days of John and Peter and Paul, there were many seducers in the church groups.
Paul said: Acts 20 ... For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
John said ... I Jn. 2:18 ... Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
These individuals wormed their way into the church groups and took over when they could and became leaders of the church group and set up false doctrine removing real doctrine from the church group.
(Just consider the removal of what Jesus said in Mt. 5:32 ... the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. I've never heard this taught in any church I've attended. It has been removed and replaced with an opposite to Christ doctrine, teaching another gospel, another way to go.)
And Paul told us the seducers would get worse and worse ... II Tim. 3 ... But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
But we, who are of God, have an anointing in us so that we can know the truth ... and we can also recognize the deception ...
I Jn.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Proverbs 27:1 ... Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
When I go to grocery store, there are carry-out people who come to carry my groceries to my car. The management of the grocery store has taught them to ask a list of questions. I hate these questions. One of the questions they are taught to ask: "Do you have any plans for the week-end?"
Recently when a carry-out girl asked this I replied: "No ... sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof ... I have enough evil to deal with today without considering tomorrow." She was stunned, speechless.
James 4 ... Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Christmas traps and burdens
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
If in the Bible, God commanded us to celebrate Jesus' birthday, then certainly we should do such. But God did not command us to celebrate Jesus' birthday by decorating trees and houses and by giving gifts on December 25.
People of this world who don't even believe in Jesus fall into the "Merry Christmas" trap, buying gifts they cannot afford and taking on needless and harmful debt. And then trying to make something great of a day of the year which is no different from any other day of the year. When you build your house on a false foundation such as this, you enter into deception and needless trouble and grief. It never quite lives up to expectations and therefore despondency is often a fruit of partaking of this event.
As people of God we do not want to fall into these worldly burdens over Christmas. First, we have to understand these celebrations were not set up by God. Therefore we do not have to partake of such. And second, we do not want to go into needless financial burdens over gift giving for a day set up by this world.
It is my understanding that Christmas means Christ's-mass ... set up by Catholic Church as a religious celebration ...
But the celebration of the birth of Christ is actually a constant celebration in that we are glad God sent Jesus in the flesh to earth to make a way of salvation by HIS sacrifice for us. But this does not pertain to December 25. So it has all gotten mixed up with the world in deception.
Then mixed in with all this is the mythical "Santa Claus" who is set up to take the place of God. It is God who know all good and evil. And as we know, there is no such thing as "Santa Claus". So for us to partake of such is to partake of a lie that we don't even believe.
Christmas and New Years are prime suicide times on the earth. That is easy to understand. Because these two days are founded upon lies and to try to live in the myth and make them special is a let down.
These two days are no different from July 1 and November 1. They are just days of the year with no special meaning for Christians. These days are traps which we do not want to fall into.
Then there is the constant statement telling us to have a merry Christmas. Over and over people will say this during these weeks. And what is a "merry Christmas"? Does this mean to please yourself on this earth in some way. That seems to be the thinking, thus the increase in suicide when they find they cannot make this happen. Does this mean to go out and drink and fornicate and revel in the gifts of man? God forbid!
All this is false. We have to walk through it because it is going to happen. But we focus on the same thing this month as we do any other month and that is reading Bible, thinking on ways of God in our lives, doing that which we believe to be right in the sight of God every day including December 25 and January 1. God is always our answer.HE is our praise. HE is our glory. HE is our merry everyday.
Jesus prayed for the church, for those individuals who belong to God. Jn. 17 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

God's charge: Bring them out of Egypt
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
When God sent Moses to the children of Israel, God gave Moses a specific charge, an assignment:
God said to Moses ... Ex. 3:10 ... Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
The work of prophets of God is defined in the following scripture:
Hosea 12:13 ... And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
Prophets are used by God to help the church to get out of traps and bondages ... and to "preserve" them, to help them to avoid traps.
After Jesus arose, after the crucifixion, he gave "gifts" to the church. Eph. 4:10 ... And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
You will notice at the top of this page, after my name, I state my callings: apostle/prophet
God showed me to do this. In a majority of the NT epistles Paul wrote to the church, you will see at the beginning of the epistle Paul stating that he is an apostle, by the will of God. There were people in his day who did not believe Paul was an apostle. Paul was not like the other apostles. When Jesus was on the earth in the flesh, Paul did not know Jesus as they did.
One of the stipulations for an apostle to replace Judas was stated by Peter as follows: Acts 1 ,,, And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 16Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. 20For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. 21Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. 23And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, 25That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. 26And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
Had Paul been in the room at that time, he would not have met those qualifications set forth for a replacement of Judas as an apostle.
Later, in HIS time, God revealed HIMSELF to Paul on the road to Damascus as Paul has set forth to put more of the church into bondage where they would likely be killed. Paul was a very unlikely person to be an apostle.
When God told Ananias to go to Paul, Ananias challenged the statement: Acts 9 ... And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. 13Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
After God told Ananias Paul was a "chosen vessel unto HIMSELF", Ananias went forward to Paul and did what God told him to do.
By the scriptures, we see there were those who did not believe Paul to be an apostle. I Cor. 9:2 Paul says ... If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
God has shown me: "Do not deny your calling." (Therefore I put "apostle/prophet" by my name even knowing it will offend many and they will not receive what I write because of this.)
But I know many did not receive Paul ... and many did not receive Jesus before Paul.
Jn. 1 ... concerning Jesus ... He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jesus was sent by God the Father to do a work on this earth and to speak the words of God.
Paul was called by God and sent to speak the words of God to the people
I am called by God and placed in the ministry in offices of apostle/prophet to do the word and speak the words I hear from God to the church.
Apostles are very concerned with church doctrine. By their fruits you know them. Consider these writings:
- What is the Lord's supper
- Divorce/remarriage: What the Bible teaches
- The New Testament Church
- OT Sabbath / NT Sabbath
- Reverend? No place in Bible man called this
- Homosexuals: What the Bible teaches
- Head covering for a woman according to Bible
The church today is filled with corrupt doctrines. The above writings address such.
Like Moses, my commission from God is to free the church from the bondages... Ex. 3:10 ... Moses was to lead them out of Egypt. My calling is to free the church of incorrect doctrine, doctrine set up by man which has become a tradition and nullifies the Word of God.
This is the work of an apostle.
After I was born again, in 1975, I was "transported" into heaven in the night as I slept. I knew I was with God, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit though I saw no images. At that time I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with THE WORD.
A few nights after this happened, the exact same thing happened again. I was "transported" into heaven in the night as I slept. I knew I was with God, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit though I saw no images. At that time I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with THE WORD.
I believe these two experiences of being made one with THE WORD OF GOD equipped me for the calling of the two offices to which I am called: apostle/prophet

Helped when accused unjustly
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Before Jesus was betrayed, at a supper in Bethany Mary anointed His feet with very costly ointment ....
John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
When Judas Iscariot saw this, he accused her of doing wrong in this, asking why the ointment hadn't been sold and the money given to the poor. Although he spoke as though he cared for the poor, that wasn't the case; he said this because he was a thief ...
John 12:4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
But Jesus did not allow Mary to be wrongly accused, telling Judas Iscariot to leave her alone, and judging her justly as He explained that she anointed Him because they were very near (against) the day of His burial ...
John 12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. 8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
We, also, are sometimes unjustly accused as we do what is right in the sight of God.
My next door neighbor, Jim, is an elderly widower who lives by himself. One afternoon a little over a year ago I kept having the thought to go see if Jim's trash can was still near the street. It seemed strange to care about his trash can, but I believed this thought was from the Holy Spirit, so went to see. I was surprised to find the trash can was still at the street since the garbage truck had come early that morning and Jim usually put his trash can back in his garage soon after the truck emptied it. I called to see if he was ok, but there was no answer. Not wanting to over-react, my intention was to wait a while and try to call again. But I kept having the thought that it wouldn't do any good to wait, and that I needed to go check on Jim. Again, I thought it was the Holy Spirit bringing this thought, so I went to his house and I found he had fallen the previous evening and was unable to get up. He had been laying on the floor for about 20 hours with a broken hip.
Jim was in a hospital then rehab center for about ten weeks and I visited him and did a few minor things for him, like feeding his cat. When it looked like he might need to go to an assisted living center, I remembered another neighbor whose mother is in an assisted living center. I called Carol and told her about Jim and asked about the center where her mother lives in case this information might be helpful to Jim. To my surprise, Carol told me I was wrong for helping Jim even in these little things, and that only his children should help (all of his children live in other towns).
But when I turned to God, I was reminded that it was the Holy Spirit who led me to find Jim when he had fallen, and this is how I started helping him. Later I was also reminded of the parable Jesus told when asked who are the neighbors we are to love as ourselves. In the parable a Samaritan helped a man who had been left half dead by thieves. Others saw but offered no help to the injured man, but the Samaritan had mercy on him. Jesus said to go and do likewise (Luke 10:25-37) I believe the Holy Spirit reminded me of these things to show that in the sight of God it was right for me to help Jim.
A few days later I saw Carol and she again made a point of telling me I shouldn't be helping Jim. She couldn't understand what I said to her. But as she spoke, she revealed that she hadn't liked Jim since long before the accident. She also spoke about the help her mother has asked of her and there was bitterness. It was obvious that she resented needing to help her mother. I believe I was allowed to see that her attack toward me for helping Jim was because she didn't like him and because of the resentment she had about needing to help her mother.
Although we are sometimes accused wrongly by those with evil in their hearts, God knows the truth and is able to help and to restore us, according to HIS will.
