Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. 5This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not. Psa. 81
When you follow God and read the Bible and allow the scriptures to rule over you by faith, the way is so different from the way of man. The way of most other people is like another language to us.
For example: I was born again in 1975 and at that time I owned a business in Dallas, Texas. I owed about $9000 at that time on merchandise. I felt strongly I should get out of debt and I began working toward getting out of debt. In a short time, I was out of debt by cutting back on my spending and by applying profits from sale of merchandise toward the debt.
A friend who worked for an airline told me the way I was running my business was exactly opposite to the way corporations operate. (She worked for Braniff Airlines.) She said they were taught to use other people's money to make more money and never use your own personal money. In a few years, Braniff went bankrupt and closed.
God has taught me a completely different way of life from the way most people live today. Most people take out mortgages and buy a house thinking it is better to do this than throw away money on rent. Makes sense. But this is not the way God led me. I lived in a simple apartment. Then when I moved to another city in 1985, to help my mother, I built apartments for us with the money I had saved and with the money she had. There was no mortgage. We just did what we could pay for. At that time I looked at trailer houses, thinking that is what I would need to buy. I had forgotten that my dad had left a little money to us. I had never used any of that money and my mother had put it into a bank savings account so it was there to use. That allowed us to build the apartments. But I did not take out a loan from a bank.
It is such a different way from the way the world teaches. But this is the way I have been taught by God. Do what you can pay for. If you can't pay for it, just don't do it.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I Tim. 6

When destruction comes
Pam Padgett ... teacher
A fire broke out just west of Colorado Springs recently. Although
I live several miles from the fire, I could see a huge column of smoke,
like a large cylinder going up into the sky, from my home just a few
hours after the fire began. I'm sure this was very frightening for
those who live near the fire, and that it would be for me as well. But
as I saw the smoke column from this distance, I marveled in God. As
I saw pictures of the massive fire burning thousands of acres
and heard that the wind caused this fire to move in three
different directions at the same time, I've had the same reaction ...
these things cause me to think of, and stand in awe of, God.
One evening I heard one of the news women comment about the power we are
witnessing in this fire. One of the news men started explaining this
away, but she again said something like "But there is so much power".
She may not understand that she is seeing the power of God, but she
seemed to realize that the power we are seeing can't be easily explained
with man's words. The following day I was reminded of the following ...
Psalm 148:7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word: 9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: 11 Kings
of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: 12
Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: 13 Let them praise
the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is
above the earth and heaven.
The fire, the wind, the trees as they burn ... all are praising God as
they do what God created them to do. God created fire to heat and to
burn things it comes in contact with. The trees burn when the fire
comes to them. The wind drives and fans the fire. All things are
working according to how God ordained. Even the mountain and hills,
which make it so difficult for man to try to stop the fire, fulfill His
purpose.
A few days after the start of the
fire it expanded very rapidly as strong winds drove the fire to a residential
area where hundreds of homes were destroyed.
Watching how quickly the fire moved and consumed homes, I was very shaken and asked God to
help stabilize me. I was again reminded
that the fire and wind fulfill God’s will…. Psalm 148:7 Praise the LORD from
the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour;
stormy wind fulfilling his word:
It was very calming to be reminded
that God is in control of all of this. To man it looked like the fire was
completely out of control ... and it was out of the control of man ... but
it was always under the control of God.
As I was thanking God for helping
me when I was so shaken, I recalled Like as a father pitieth his
children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame;
he remembereth that we are dust. (Psalm
103:13)
God knows how
easily shaken we can become, and He has pity on those who fear Him.
Because we fear Him, we turn to Him, and He has compassion on us and helps us,
knowing exactly what we need to be helped.
Also during this time I have heard people lamenting the "beauty" that is
burning. I was reminded that God created all things, including the
trees that make this area so pretty. Yet He has chosen for these to
burn. Man tends to hold onto "nature" as though it is
sacred ... worshiping the created rather than the Creator. But it is
God who is worthy to be praised.
When Job lost so many things … his oxen,
asses, sheep, camels, servants, sons and daughters … he worshipped God.
Job 1: 20
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon
the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's
womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath
taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. 22 In all this Job sinned not,
nor charged God foolishly.
And we know in the day of the Lord, all of this will burn ...
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
We are told to set our affection, not on things of the earth, but on
things above, seeking the will of God and to please Him as we walk on
this earth.
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
(Comments by Joan Boney: Recently we had hail storms two nights in a row. The hail was probably golf ball size. It can do a lot of damage to the roof. But all I could think of is this: Hail is from God. And in spite of the damage it could do, I rejoiced.)
When ministers want money from you...
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
The apostle Paul said ... For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Titus 1:10
I receive emails from "ministers" who are trying to deceive me. We come across people who say they are Christians who try to deceive us or are vain talkers and would mislead us if God allowed it, but God doesn't allow it.
When a "minister" comes asking for money, that means that "minister" has gone off on his own works and is trying, by fleshly means, to get others to pay for his works or he doesn't understand turning to God for God's support and trusting God.
When God is behind the work, God provides. It is not a matter of fleshly means of getting money such as asking other people to send money. These fleshly "ministers" can only see other humans as the source of money. But we who are of God know that all we have to do is to wait on God and if the work is of God then the money just comes in without our asking humans (other flesh) for money.
---------------------
When I was persuaded I was to go into ministry full time and close my business to do this, I had no income. All I had was the money that came from the sale of the merchandise from my business. This was July 31, 1978.
I simply stayed in my apartment and read the Bible and did what I saw to do and paid my expenses from my personal saving from sale of the merchandise. Then after doing what I saw to do, I returned to my apartment and read the Bible. Then again when I would see something to do, I would do it. Then I returned home and resumed reading Bible.
During this time, I "fasted" ... I felt strongly led by God to fast "TV" ... I didn't watch any TV. I didn't go to plays. I didn't go to sporting events. I just stayed home and read the Bible and did what I saw to do from the scriptures.
This "fast" continued from July 31, 1978, to January 10 of 1979.
The change came the night of January 10, 1979. In the night while I was sleeping, I heard a voice like a trumpet saying to me, "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" ... I jumped out of bed. The voice was so loud it startled me.
KWJS was obviously call letters to radio or TV station. I looked it up and found it was radio station. I said to God, "Are you telling me to go on radio? I wouldn't know how to do this."
I had gentle impression: "Call radio station manager."
That morning, I called the radio station manager at KWJS. I told him that I thought God might be telling me to go on radio. I asked him how you do that. He replied, "Make a tape recording 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to me and if you fit our broadcasting we will offer you a contract." I asked him how much it costs. He replied, "$800 per month."
After I got off phone, I made recording and mailed it to the station manager.
Then I asked God how HE wanted me to pay for this. Gentle impression: "Just write to the people you know and tell them what happened." (I knew fewer than 80 people at the time.)
I wrote and told what had happened. I did not ask for money.
One man hand carried money to my apartment for broadcast. Others gave me money when they saw me or sent me money. Within a two or three day period I had more than enough to pay for the first month's broadcast. But I never asked any human for money. I simply told them what happened.
Within a week, I was on radio KWJS 5 days a week, 30 minutes per day.
When a work is authored by God, I've found I just do not have to ask humans to give me money to pay for that work. If the work is of God, God makes way.
Paul said: My God shall supply all your need... Phil. 4:19
For example: In the 1980's I had dream in the night and heard these words: "Gold is $906 an ounce." (At that time gold was $288 an ounce.)
I felt God was telling me to buy gold coins. I took excess money and bought gold coins. I put these coins back and forgot about them.
Then in approximately 2008, Pam said to me, "Didn't God tell you something about gold?" I replied, "Yes ... in a dream. Gold was $906 an ounce." Pam replied, "It is more than that now." I was shocked. I always felt the $906 was the number where I should sell the coins. So I sold the coins. Then I had a word which caused me to think God was showing me to go on radio in Lubbock, Texas (USA). I arranged for broadcasts and paid for the broadcasts over the next year with the money from the gold coins. I did not ask for money from people listening to the radio broadcasts in Lubbock.
You might be able to pay for the work by begging people to give you money ... or by making people feel guilty so they send money ... but these are fleshly ways and not ways of God.
And often the works that ministers think are "good works" are authored by their own flesh and are from their own egos.
When the work is authored by God, I have found that God makes a way to do that work without my having to ask humans to pay for the work.
And in the New Testament I can think of no example where a minister asked people for money for his work.
But so many "ministers" are of the flesh and not of the Spirit and their "good works" are of the flesh and not of the Spirit so they have to try to get "flesh" (other humans) to pay for their works.
Jesus said ...
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Mt. 7
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mt. 24
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (those who copy real persons of God) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Jude
The real ministers of God minister to the spirit... turning you to God ... turning you to scripture to get you to modify your ways on this earth ... always working to help you to see the way of God and encouraging you in the way of God.
The ministers of the flesh come wanting something from you ... in the "name" of Jesus ... for some "good" work.
Paul said ... But my God shall supply all your need ... Phil. 4
But some "ministers" try to get you to supply all their need. They speak of their need to you ... to get you to send money to them. This way is not of God. They are simply working on your flesh to get you to give to them. They say: "We are trying to build a building ... We are trying to care for orphans ... We need Bibles ..." but always "they need you to give to them". But when you are godly, it is God who supplies all your need ... They are ungodly in their fleshly approach.
Some even send pictures of the orphans to hook you to their flesh. These are ministers of the flesh and not of the Spirit.
One minister asked me recently to send a picture of myself to him. I replied, "I don't have a picture of me." (what does a photo of me do to minister to the spirit ... nonsense ... this is just all flesh.) Later I thought, "I could send 104 pictures of my cat." This makes as much sense as sending a picture of me! None of this is at all spiritual. It is just flesh.
One email came from a "pastor" ... "inviting" me to speak at a minister's conference in London. Transportation, meals, hotel and a speaking fee would be paid to me. I replied I did not want a fee to speak to the church. But this was all a scam to get money. What they were doing is offering a speaker's fee of $8500 but they said you would have to get a work permit from England so you were to send them approximately $499 for the work permit. Then "they said" they would send you round trip air. (after they received money from you for work permit) I told them by email we had learned this was scam. I heard no more from them.
I do not think we should be bitter over all these various deceptions by so-called "ministers" .
We who are of God, chosen by God, are grateful to God for HIS provision. We are grateful HE chose us. We didn't choose HIM. He chose us. And HE provides for us in all ways, spiritually and physically and HE will provide for us even unto death. How can we not rejoice that we belong to HIM.
The others who depend on their own flesh and the flesh of other humans either do not belong to God or have just copied ungodly "ministers" rather than trusting in God.
We just rejoice that God is our God and we belong to HIM and our names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Some people are appointed to salvation ... some people are appointed to destruction as was Pharaoh.
Romans 9.
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated... Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Romans 9
So rejoice if you are one of those appointed to salvation.
But beware of the deception and turn from it for deception is one of those things that will be rampant in the last days and many will come saying "Jesus is Lord" and they will deceive many in the name of Jesus. Jesus said, "Let no man deceive you." Mt. 24
One "pastor" told me "God" told him that I was to come help him. He said to let him know when I arrive in his country ... 1/2 way across the world from where I live ... I am 74 years old ... 2 years ago, I had accident. During surgery bone in leg shattered and left me partially crippled. I have to use wheelchair in grocery store. Sometimes it is so painful that I can barely walk in my own house from one room to another ... I explained to this "pastor" that I come to him and to others all over the world like Paul comes to us today ... I come to all daily by these daily exhortations. And these are by the Spirit of God to help us, the church, daily. And we are very grateful that we can do this, go all over the world today, without cost, for these internet writings are "free" to us and unlimited. We can write as many pages as we want without cost. And we go all over the world today without cost! What a wonderful thing!

Obeying God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Jesus said ...
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Many of us say we love God and love Jesus, the Word of God made flesh ,,, but do we obey?

In peace, without spot, blameless
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. I Jn. 2
they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. I Cor. 7:31
We are told in II Peter that we need to be diligent to be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Diligent would to be watchful at all times to keep us in these positions: in peace, without spot, blameless ...
It is such a terrifying thing to me when I think I may have needlessly injured another person. Recently I had the thought that I might have done that. I quickly turned to God and asked HIM. He caused me to reflect on the meaning of a word and by that I came to believe I had not been wrong in what I did. But I was really frightened until I had this settled with God.
Also I would not want to "abuse this world" by owing that which I cannot pay. For many years, God has taught me to live below my means. Once I heard this: "Choose less rather than more."
In the front of my Bible, I have definitions of "peace" where I can examine myself to see if I am living in "peace".
- free from agitation, anxiety, dread
Sometimes I find I do all that I can to bring peace in relationships just to have the hand I extend rejected and I can see nothing at all to do. I grieve in such but I continually re-submit myself to God for HIS keeping. That is all I know to do when this is situation.
And sometimes in midst of struggle, I find I just keep saying to God ... "Praise God ... Thank You for my salvation" ... "Praise God ... Thank You for my salvation" ... "Praise God ... Thank You for my salvation ..." (over and over I say this sometimes when there is nothing else I can see to do in the midst of trouble.
Nothing hidden from God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I was reading about David in II Samuel, and came across a verse where a servant of David said, "There is no matter hid from the king." (II Sam. 18:13)
Immediately, I thought of God, THE KING ... and how nothing is hidden from God.
Jesus said:
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Mt. 10:26
God knows exactly what they are doing ... and God reveals to us that which we need to know about what they are doing.
Several times, God has shown me in dreams what people are doing.
There is a woman at bridge center. God gave me 2 dreams about her. The first dream, she was having sex with another woman. Then much later God gave me another dream about this woman, she was even in worse condition in the 2nd dream. She was like a very fat dwarf. She was walking down a hallway and could hardly walk because she was so fat and so deformed. I walked past her but didn't say a word to her.
Then another woman, God gave me two dreams to show me her condition. The first dream was negative. The second dream was even worse so I knew her condition was not improving but was getting worse. In the second dream she had turned away from me.
Then another woman was "mad". She was in another room but was mad (apparently mad at me).
I thought about other people through the years when God showed me what they were doing.
Nothing hidden from God and HE shows us what we need to see about them so we will not be deceived by vain imaginations.
We must focus on that which God has shown us so we will not be deceived. For nothing is hidden from God and God will show us truth to keep us safe from our own flesh and from vain imaginations.
Then I was reminded of this:
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Heb. 4:13
We live in "perilous times" ... (as Paul described the last days ... II Tim. 3)
Paul said: evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
II Tim. 3
Spirits not of God will bring many thoughts to us and to others. Even after we pray sometimes the wrong spirit can bring thoughts to deceive us about the issue at hand. So we have to be very careful to "try the spirit" behind the thought to see if that thought was from God or from another spirit.
Paul told us to focus on the truth that is in the Holy Scriptures.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. II Tim. 3

Holding onto truth
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
God's truth will not change. Throughout all generations, what is just and right in His sight remains the same. This is what we can always believe and hold to. We know that evil men and seducers will increase more and more, and can expect the standards for what is acceptable behavior in the world to continue to lower as a result. But what God has told us holds true. There is no other truth.
2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
While thinking about these things, I was reminded of ...
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Divorce/Remarriage
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Over the years there have been multiple times people have come across my path and I have spoken to them about what the Bible says about divorce and remarriage.
-----
Many years ago I met a man at church named Mo. He and I had talked about things in the Bible, and I considered him a valued friend. One day Mo came to where I worked and asked if we could talk. He told me he was dating a divorced woman and was getting "serious" about her, considering asking her to marry him. He asked me what I saw in the Bible about this. I told him he would go against what we're told in the Bible if he married this woman. He would commit adultery if he married her, and she would commit adultery.
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
After telling him this, he left looking very sad. As he walked away, I was reminded of the story of the rich ruler who asked Jesus what he should do to inherit eternal life. He went away very sorrowful when Jesus told him to sell all that he had and distribute to the poor.
Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
-----------
When I was finishing college I rented a room in the house owned by a woman I met at church. She had been divorced twice. At one point she said something to me about wanting to get married again. I told her that if she did this, she would commit adultery.
Her response was shocking to me, saying that she didn't care what we're told in the Bible, she knew what she believed. Not long after this I moved.
Some time later I learned that she was engaged to marry a man I also knew. I went and spoke with him about this as well, and left several scriptures on this subject for him, including scriptures showing that he would also commit adultery if he married her.
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
I learned that the wedding was still planned and that the maid of honor was a woman I knew. I went to the maid of honor and spoke with her about this. She said that she knew what they were doing was wrong, but that they would get married whether or not she was in the wedding, so she was going ahead as the maid of honor.
(II Jn ... Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. The woman who was maid of honor ended up partaking in the evil deed.)
The wedding was held, but I didn't attend.
About this time, I noticed something strange happening when I went to church. Several people in the singles group sat in one area of the church and had done so for many months. I didn't know most of these people well, but we spoke casually. One Sunday I got to church early and sat in this section of the church. None of the people from the singles group came, and the church service started. I looked around and saw that the they were sitting a few rows behind where I was sitting. I didn't think much about it, and the next week I sat back a few rows, in the area they sat the week before. Gradually I started noticing them come in and sit a few rows in front of me. I was puzzled about why they weren't sitting consistently in the same area. The next week I deliberately got to church shortly before the service started and went to the area where the singles were sitting. When I sat down, people got up and moved away from me without saying anything.
It was obvious that these people wanted nothing to do with me, but I had no idea what was going on. I started just sitting by myself.
A few weeks later as I was leaving the church service, a young woman I didn't know very well called to me. She said she had a message from God for me. The message was (paraphrased) that God knew what I was going through and the way people were treating me because I had spoken against the marriage of the divorced woman ... but in speaking this I had done what was right in the sight of God.
How merciful for God to have this woman deliver this message to me! Finally I knew why I was being shunned and, most importantly, that it was because I had done what was right in the sight of God.
----
I was engaged to be married to a man who had divorced his wife because she was having an affair with another man (committing fornication). They had three grown children. One evening this man called telling me his son had decided to get married and about plans that were being made for his son's wedding. The son was marrying a divorced woman. I knew the son was dating a divorced woman, and should have spoke sooner. But, on hearing about the wedding plans, I told him that his son would commit adultery if he married this woman.
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
He became angry with me when I told him this. When I returned from a business trip a few days later, we broke up. (He really didn't want anything more to do with me.)
As I was driving away after we broke up, I heard "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers". Although he considered himself to be a Christian, he did not believe what we're told in the Bible about a man marrying a divorced woman committing adultery ... an unbeliever.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
----
My younger sister and her husband divorced several years ago. Shortly after the divorced, I shared with my sister scripture that show that a divorced woman commits adultery if she remarries, including
Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
She obviously resented my sharing these things with her, and we didn't speak to each other very much after this. Then, a few years later, she called to tell me she was getting married and invited me to the wedding. I reminded her that she would commit adultery if she married this man, and told her I would not attend the wedding. I was also reminded of the following and told her this ...
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
At the time I was born again, in the mid-70's, my best friend told me of how she deceived her husband into marriage. She had been divorced. She did not let anyone know she was divorced and when she met this widower she did not tell him until after he had already fallen in love with her. Later, after they married, she asked him if he would have gone out with her had he known she was divorced and he said, "No." But he married her. (These were church people. They met at the church they attended.)
Jesus said ... whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Mt. 5:32
Several years ago, my cousin, her husband, and her 2 adult aged sons visited me. I learned that one son was thinking of marrying a divorced woman. (These are not church people) I told him the Bible says a man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. I advised him not to marry a divorced woman. Unknown to me, they were already living together and fornication was involved. They did marry. They had one child. They divorced. Then I learned this son has a long history of fornication. He picked up with fornication again after he and this once divorced woman divorced. Way of darkness with no light in them.
Concerning the man Pam planned to marry ... I knew this marriage was not going to be good and told Pam. Pam decided to postpone the wedding as a result. It was after that, she disclosed the scripture that the man who marries divorced woman commits adultery. That is when her intended husband's son planned to marry divorced woman. After Pam spoke these scriptures, the man she was planning to marry didn't want anything to do with Pam. It is a miracle that Pam postponed that wedding. Had she married and then found out what this man thought about scripture it would have been a disaster. This man said he was a Christian. But he showed he didn't uphold or believe scripture.
When I was in elementary school, I overheard my mother and my aunt talking about my dad's first wife. I was shocked. I didn't know he had a "first wife". Upon hearing this, I didn't want to see my dad. I knew divorce/remarriage as taught by God. We did not attend a church. I think God taught me this by His Spirit.

Finding a field of gold
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Dream – June 28, 2012
I was talking (I think on the phone) with a young man who reads messages on the Jesus Ministries Exhortations blog. A couple times as we spoke he said “this may sound strange …”, but then would stop himself and say that it wouldn’t seem strange to me. One time this had to do with corrupt ministers. He spoke of one minister in particular who apparently was known for singing a particular song. The young man said how much it bothered him to hear what this minister was doing, and said he couldn’t even stand to hear him sing this song. This young man had obviously read the messages about corrupt ministers and recognized this is what he had been seeing as well.
At another point he again said “this may sound strange …” but then stopped and said it wouldn’t seem strange to me. Again, it was something that had been addressed in messages on the blog but which isn’t typically taught in churches today, but I don’t remember what it was.
I wanted for us to be able to stay in touch with this young man and suggested email. He said he uses the internet, even having his own internet servers, but prefers not to use email so hasn’t set up an email server.
(The way he recognized the messages, and knew I would recognize what he said, reminded me of Joan’s “password” dream)
Comments by Joan Boney ... Several years ago, God gave me a dream where we were at war. The problem was everyone dressed the same way so it was difficult to recognize those who were in our army. So God gave us a password. When we spoke, those on the side of God recognized us by the password. And when they spoke, we recognized them. (The Word of God spoken by the Spirit of God is that password ... so many in churches praise their church and their minister but you don't hear them speak what God has said to them. And the same is true with many "ministers". They speak many high sounding words but often their words are like clouds that produce no rain, not from the Spirit of God.)
Concerning Pam's dream where the young man recognized us by the writings on internet ... This was very encouraging to me. Mostly the people who have contacted me are people who want something from me. So it encourages me and comforts me to know someone out there really loves the word of God and has stumbled onto a field full of gold and recognizes it and rejoices in the messages from the Spirit of God.
And the Holy Scriptures tell me the following: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
I Cor. 15:58
I know our writings are not in vain. First, I know it was God who put us on the blog and led us to do this work on Internet. God gave me a dream showing me a "nice little voice" which would allow us to function as the church sharing things of God with each other. Two days after this dream, I had the "blog" called to my attention. Three days after the dream, we were publishing on the Internet. It is very important to be directed by God to do something and to be fully persuaded God wants you to do what you are doing. If that is the case, your "labor" will not be in vain.
Also we are not trying to get anything from you. We are trying to give something valuable to you and trying to turn you to God in everything. And we are trying always to share with you those things given to us by the Spirit of God.

Recognizing need for change
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
This past week, I received a letter from a young pastor. He had apparently been a pastor along with his father. But his father (50 years old) died and he was left with the "work". His mother was grieving over the loss of her husband. The young man (28 years old) said he didn't know how they were going to be able to get food (physical food).
First, I sent following to his mother and family ...
Paul said to comfort one another with these words: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I Thess. 4
Then I told the young man the following:
"You aren't going to want to hear what I say to you ... Get a secular paying job and provide for your family."
When a "minister" is doing a work and can't pay for that work, he is in trouble. When God authors the work, God provides. But so many works that ministers are doing are the ideas of those ministers. And this is especially true when that minister has to ask other people to pay for the work he is doing.
There is no place in the Bible where a minister asked other humans to pay for the work authored by God.
I have been receiving many emails from people identifying themselves as "ministers". But almost without exception these "ministers" are asking me for money. This is wrong to do this. Give up that work that you can't pay for and go out and get a job and provide for your family.
I knew the young man who just wrote me about his father dying and wanted money didn't read the messages we write because he addressed me as "Reverend". I was horrified at this.
There is no place in the Bible where a minister calls himself "Reverend". When a minister does this, he seeks his own glory. The ministers of Jesus Christ in the Bible call themselves apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher. These are the ministries ordained by God. Eph. 4. There is no such thing in Bible as a "music minister" ... or a "youth minister" ... The only thing we have to go by in the church is the Bible. And when it is not in Bible, is is a work of man and not of God.
There is so much evil in the church groups today.
The Bible is the key for us. When they add to the Bible, depart from them.

Bringing blessings upon yourself
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he (Jesus) spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Blessed: fortunate, well off, happy
In recalling times I believed I had heard a word from God in what to do, and did it ... each time everything has turned out well for me, without exception. Certainly there have been times there were fears and it was painful to the flesh as people shunned me, or I lost reputation, or my finances decreased, as a result of doing what I believe God led me to do. But in each situation, I have ended up been so grateful to God for how HE worked even these things for my good.
A fairly recent example is a word I heard about eight months ago after having prayed for many months about what to do regarding various problems at my job ...
Micah 2:10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
After being convinced this was God's direction for me regarding my job, I retired. There were many fearful thoughts about retiring, but I tried to take each of those to God, and He always gave me something to resolve the fears when I did this.
Now I am so grateful to be retired! I am now able to spend lots of time reading the Bible, praying, and allowing God to work with me by His Spirit as I meditate in those things called to my attention and try to do them. There is so much more peace now, as I'm not spending hours each day with various people all trying to get their own ways, but not knowing God so not seeking His direction. And, even though my finances decreased significantly, all of my needs are abundantly met. There is no want at all, and I rejoice in God as I see Him continue to provide for me.
It builds our faith to consider times God has given us a word, and we have done it, and we see the ways He has worked in our lives bringing about much more than we ever imagined. It should also encourage us to pay attention to what God speaks to us and diligently try to do that.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

What the Bible says: Divorce/Remarriage
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus said ... Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Mt. 19
Notice Jesus is speaking to men.
There are different commandments for men than there are for women. It may not seem "fair" to your flesh but this is the way it is.
If the wife is committing fornication, the man can divorce her and remarry without committing adultery.
But Paul (by the commandment of the LORD) said if the wife leaves her husband, the wife is to remain unmarried or return to her husband.
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. I Cor. 7
-----------------------
Jesus said ... But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Mt. 5:32
3 forms of adultery in this case:
- man who divorces "faithful" wife will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries.
- "faithful" wife will commit adultery if she remarries
- man who marries divorced woman commits adultery
Paul speaking by the commandment of God to the New Testament church ...
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Romans 7
The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. 40But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God. I Cor. 7
---------------------
And Jesus explained ... Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mt. 19:4-6
At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh ...
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. I Cor. 6
Men are warned that even if they have sex with a prostitute, they will become one flesh at time of sexual intercourse.
Only death can separate flesh ... And this was a plan of God, that two would become one flesh at time of sexual intercourse.
Concerning the differences between men and women, from the beginning there was a difference. Society can rebel and try to make it seem that the sexes are the same, "equal", with same rules pertaining to both but this is not what Bible shows us.
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Gen. 2
Different happening for men and women ...
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done?
And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
16Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Gen. 3
For the divorced woman, if she remarries she commits adultery. If her husband dies, she can remarry, but only "in the Lord" (someone who is born again) ... And Paul warns that it is his opinion that she will be better off if she does not remarry after her husband died. (I Cor. 7)
For the man, if his wife is committing fornication, he can remarry. But this does not apply to the woman who's husband is committing fornication ... If she leaves her husband she is to remain unmarried or be reconciled with her husband. I Cor. 7 ... This is the only way shown us in the New Testament.
Jesus said ... Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Mt. 19

For the man, if his wife is committing fornication, he can remarry. But this does not apply to the woman who's husband is committing fornication ... If she leaves her husband she is to remain unmarried or be reconciled with her husband. I Cor. 7 ... This is the only way shown us in the New Testament.

I know WHOM I have believed
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
It is important to be "established" if you belong to God. Your family, your neighbors, your friends might think you are not of God. None of this matters. What matters is you have to know WHOM you believe.
Nor does it matter if others think you are of God. You have to know.
You have to be "established" by God, between you and HIM. That matters.
Paul said: But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. I Cor. 4
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 14That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us. II Tim. 1
There were people in Paul's day who did not think Paul was an apostle. We see this by what Paul wrote.
If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. I Cor. 9
Things happen to discourage us and to pull us away.
We cannot go by emotion, by how we feel.
We have to go by that which God says, especially what God says in the Holy Scripture.
all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. II Tim. 3
When we are discouraged or when evil men and seducers would pull us away from the way of God, we must just sit down with scripture in front of us and purpose to believe that scripture, knowing it is inspired by God.
We must not go by the way we feel.

Healing
Renee Bonfield ... evangelist
On March 30, 2012 While at my Cardiologyst's
office, my doctor asked me how I found out that I had breast
cancer. (He is a Jewish doctor) He asked if I felt a lump.
I said no. I had a dream showing me that I had cancer, and I told
him my dream. Then he said "You'd better forget about
your dreams." I replied "No, I can't do that."
Today I had another appointment with my
cardiologyst. I told him that I no longer have Fibromyalgia. He
looked amazed and asked how I got rid of it. I said "I had
a miraculous healing." Then he said you must have just been thinking positive thoughts. Then I said," No, it
was God who healed me."
Taking thoughts captive
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
A woman in our church group couldn't seem to get back on her feet after a wedding that she went to the first of this month. Day by day, I would speak with her by phone. Finally, I began slipping away. I was reminded of Mt. 25:
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Mt. 25
Each of us want to help the other person when we see need. But each of us also have to go to God and be established by God. And if we let that which God speaks slip, or if we handle the word given us by God in an incorrect manner, we will get weaker and weaker. We bring "damnation" upon ourselves when we do this, failing to partake of HIS body and HIS blood correctly. For the word given us is "The Lord's Supper".
The following does not pertain to crackers and grape juice. The following pertains to eating and drinking the word of God (the body and blood of Jesus Christ) correctly.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. 27Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (examine yourselves by the word of God making needed corrections in your life by the word of God) 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. I Cor. 11
When we see one among us slipping, and we reach out to help, but that person just keeps slipping, we have to let go at some point otherwise we will go over the cliff with him. It is up to each one of us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Phil. 2
Each of us have to build our faith in God by considering that which God has done for us and what the Word says to us.
We have to reject lying vanities which come in the form of thoughts. We cling to the truth in the issues at hand.
If we do opposite, we will be swept away.
Paul said:
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. I Cor. 9
I suspect it is difficult for us to imagine that the apostle Paul could have been a castaway ... But Paul knew he could be a castaway even after preaching to others. Therefore he said he had to "keep under his body and bring it into subjection" ... we have to deal with destructive thoughts properly.
A few days ago, I had a very strong destructive thought come to my mind. The thought was opposite to what the Bible says. But the thought seemed very real. (lying vanity)
I took a couple of scriptures and saw they were opposite to that thought and I chose to believe the scripture and cast aside the thought which was opposite to the scripture. (now I can't even remember what the lying vanity was)
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. Jonah 2:8
Each of us have to take thoughts captive. Paul explained:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; II Cor. 10
The Bible tells us the truth. The Holy Scriptures are inspired by God. You can compare the lying vanity to the Holy Scriptures and you should be able to see the truth in the matter at hand. Then you choose to believe what the Bible says about the issue at hand. Thus you reestablish yourself by the word of God
Each of us must do this for ourselves continually ... bringing into captivity every thought ... to the obedience of the Word of God. No one can do this for us. We must do it for ourselves.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Roman 12
