Psalm 103:10-12 He (God) hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.

Hebrews 10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Joan Boney asked me a couple of times,"Don't you have trouble relating to God when you never had a father?"
I did not answer her because I did not have an answer. I have been
reminded several times lately of a time when I was 6 or 7 years old. I
was often by myself roaming my grandparents farm over 200 plus acres. I
loved to explore. I came upon a place where the trees were very
beautiful. I sat on a branch and began talking to .... I did not know
who ....... but it was God. I can't remember what I talked about but I felt that I was not alone. I had made a new friend.
I have heard stories of people who can account the exact moment that they were born again. I can't. When I asked God when was I born again. I am reminded of the experience in the woods and talking to Him. After that, I remember knowing things that others did not ..... but I could not say "how" I knew.

(The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and guides us into all truth. John 14:26, John 16:13)
Very strong concepts of right and wrong were inside me.
I did go to a Presbyterian church with my Grandmother where she was my
Sunday school teacher. As a young married woman, I heard Joan on the
radio and was drawn to the authenticity of the words and truths
revealed. I knew that what she spoke was real. This was my real
instruction.
It has been a great comfort to me to know that God has been with me since I was a child. As a young adult, I challenged my parents by speaking what was in my heart. They did not understand this and I was persecuted. I had issues with feeling unloved, unwanted and at one point I considered suicide. I did not understand that it was God who put these thoughts in my heart. At the time I believed that I was bad, stupid, and a troublemaker....just as my parents said. I needed to understand that God is and has been my only Father, I needed to hear from HIM that I was not causing trouble but speaking what was in my heart. I am so grateful to know this. As HE has healed me and helped me to forgive, HE is still a great comfort ........ providing answers to my questions about my lack of relationship with my earthly father and when being born again.
