πŸ’₯ Psalm 34

12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

James 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

When we are about to say something hurtful or destructive or in strife, we can pray:  "God ... please don't let me say that !"

When I pray this, I realize God stopped me from speaking that which my flesh wanted to speak!

God bridled my tongue after I prayed!

Concerning strife that I find in my heart, or bitterness, I often pray:

Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

God always answers this prayer for me!

We can't serve God with the wrong spirit!  People will be hurt if we do this.  It is critical for us to be cleansed by God often as we become offended by another person.

And we must receive corrections when they are Godly, humbling ourselves!

James 1

18 Of HIS own will begat HE us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of HIS creatures.

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The meekest of all men was Moses.

Numbers 12:13

(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

Do I have to say to you, "Thus saith the Lord," if I speak a word from God to you?

If I should be speaking by my own ideas, I would say, "This is just my opinion, but I think it is of God."  And I might say, "Now I'm not saying this is a word from God but I think it is."  But if I share something with you that is personal and I will likely tell you, I believe this is from God so consider it carefully.  I'm not speaking my own opinion

Look at the way Paul spoke:

I Corinthians 7:10   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

Every word of scripture is inspired by God.  (2 Tim. 3:16)  So if it is in Bible we know God inspired that word, so even when Paul implied it is his opinion, God put it into Paul's heart to say this and later it shows up in the Bible.

But don't you realize I'm the same as Paul.  I speak by commandment of God and I speak by that which I believe is of God.  I don't speak lightly to the church.

(But some treat my words lightly.)  This is a mistake if you do this. I speak to you as an apostle and prophet, as an oracle of God, and if I were you I would consider I am not speaking as a human of this world but as a servant of God doing the will of God, speaking what God plants in my heart.

Even when I considered a man who delivered a message to me to close my business to be of questionable character, I was not prepared to take his word lightly.  And I did close my business to go into the ministry though I had no ministry to which to go.  How did it work out for me?  I stayed at home and waited for 6 months after that word for God to show me how to go into the ministry.  I closed the business on July 31, 1979, and in the night on January 10, 1980, in the night a trumpet like voice spoke 3 words to me:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS (radio station)"  and by that God showed me how I was to go into ministry, by radio exhortations which I gave to the church.

(The radio station manager in Detroit said to me, "You just appeared.  Most come from somewhere but you were just there.")

I really had no plan to close my business at the time I closed my business.  But I didn't take that man's word to me lightly.  He said he was a prophet and maybe he was.  I could not deny his word to me in order to go in my own way.

Some never seem to consider the word I share might be of God.  They just continue to go in their own way.

Some don't even show that they pray over what I say to them.  They just do what they prefer by their fleshly thinking.  They miss the blessings of God this way.  And in the day of judgment what will you do if God says, "Didn't my servant tell you the message I sent to you?"

For the last 2 days I awoke hearing this hymn:

1
’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.

Refrain
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.

2
O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood.

3
Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

4
I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

Recently I've been reminded of the following dream I had 2/27/2020 and wanted to share it ...

There had been an explosion. Somehow it was known that the person responsible for this explosion had setup another explosion for a specific day. We even knew the approximate time.

I started to leave the building where I was working on the sixth floor before the second explosion was to take place, but just a few steps down the stairs I remember my purse and that all my identification was in it. I ran to where my purse was and got it. Then I proceeded to leave, going down the stairs very quickly. I counted each floor as I passed by it descending down the stairs.

Some people were standing along the stairs, talking. I could tell by their talk that they knew the explosion was supposed to be coming, but they seemed to feel no sense of urgency. I didn’t stop to try to persuade them to get out right away. Instead, I went around them and continued getting to the first floor so I could leave the building.  I got out of the building and continued quickly on my way to leave the area.

At one point I was aware the explosion had happened. There was a wall of glass doors in the outside area where I was. I went through one of the doors to the other side, getting as far away from the destruction as I could. I kept walking as quickly as possible.

At another point I saw a woman walking around with a dazed look. She was carrying a recording device. I heard her say she was interviewing people who had been hurt or raped during this event.

I kept walking as quickly as possible toward the parking lot so I could leave.

When I awoke from this dream, I heard “save yourself from this untoward generation”

Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

untoward:
difficult to guide, manage, or work with;unruly
marked by trouble or unhappiness
inappropriate, offensive, perverse, willful, crooked

After my husband got out of the hospital last year after his stroke, kidney stones, etc., I was talking to God one day about different things that had happened during that period of time, especially how my son and daughter had been so helpful to both my husband and myself. Going that extra mile without me even having to ask them for help.

I have to say that what they did surprised me.

But, as I thought about it that day, I heard the following from the Holy Spirit… CHILDREN ARE BLESSINGS FROM GOD.

Podcast: Sodom and Gomorrha were set forth for an example of those that sin today

Jude

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Preachers today who eliminate many scriptures and approve such sins as fornication, adultery, and homosexual acts.)

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God sent forth 2 angels to remove Lot (Abraham's nephew from Sodom) and to destroy Sodom where men from every quarter of the city were homosexuals.

Genesis 19

1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.  (have sex with them)

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

10 But the men (the 2 angels) put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. 11 And they (the 2 angels) smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

(Angels have great powers.)

12 And the men (the 2 angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: 13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

Genesis 13:13  But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

And what does God say to us in the Holy Bible about homosexual and lesbian?

Romans 1

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

What God says in Bible about fornication:

I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

(At the time of sexual intercourse the 2 become one flesh even if it is sex with a prostitute.)

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

What God says in Bible about adultery:

Matthew 5:32  (Jesus says) But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

* The only scriptural reason for man to divorce his wife is if she is committing fornication.
* If man divorces a faithful wife and she remarries, she commits adultery and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Mark 10  (Jesus says)

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (At the time of sexual intercourse the 2 become 1 flesh.) 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Romans 7

(New Testament law of God spoken by the apostle Paul to the NT Church)

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Luke 7 (Reading through the Bible)

Now when He had ended all His sayings in the audience of the people, He entered into Capernaum.

And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto Him the elders of the Jews, beseeching Him that He would come and heal his servant.

And when they came to Jesus, they besought Him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom He should do this:  For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.

Then Jesus went with them. And when He was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying unto Him, Lord, trouble not Thyself: for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof:

Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto Thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

When Jesus heard these things, He marvelled at him, and turned Him about, and said unto the people that followed Him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

11 And it came to pass the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and much people.

12 Now when He came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

14 And He came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And He said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And He delivered him to his mother.

16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited His people.

17 And this rumour of Him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

18 And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou He that should come? or look we for another?

20 When the men were come unto Him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto Thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

21 And in that same hour He cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind He gave sight.

22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in ME.

24 And when the messengers of John were departed, He began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.

26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before Thy face, which shall prepare Thy way before Thee.
28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

29 And all the people that heard Him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

(They always react in an inappropriate way.)

33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.

34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.

36 And one of the Pharisees desired Him that He would eat with him. And He went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38 And stood at His feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden Him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee.

And he saith, Master, say on.

41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most.

And He said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

44 And He turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest Me no water for My feet: but she hath washed My feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

45 Thou gavest Me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss My feet.

46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed My feet with ointment.

47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

48 And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

49 And they that sat at meat with Him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

50 And He said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

πŸ’₯ If it hadn't been for Noah, none of us would be here because God saw the evil in men and was going to destroy all but NOAH found grace with God.

 Genesis 6

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIS at HIS heart.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

So God spared Noah and the generations of man continued.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The day of the Lord is coming where Jesus consumes the evil doers and takes the ones who have the righteousness of God into the new heaven and new earth which is created for them by God.

2 Thessalonians 2

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

2 Peter 3:10-14

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

The end of this present world is coming.  Perhaps in our lifetime!  Until then, we overcome through the Word of God as we wait to be taken off this present earth.  And while we remain on this earth, we exhort the others who are called by God and encourage them in the Word of God.

I John 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Those things we hear from God overcomes the world when we do them and speak them.  The Word given us is "victory" when we believe that word and do that word and share that word.

Faith is believing what God says about the matter at hand.  Faith wins!

There is no counsel against that Word God speaks to us concerning the issues of this present life.  Victory is that Word spoken by God regardless of whom that comes to us.

I knew God called me to be a minister.  Multiple times at multiple church gatherings individuals were used by God to prophecy over me.  I didn't know what ministry I was to do other than work of an apostle and prophet, and God taught me what those ministries involved.  But where and how, came later.  There seemed to be no place for me to work in the body of Christ and no way.  But there was.

The first time I ever heard of something called "a blog", was in the movie about Julia Childs called Julie and Julia.  The young girl had started a daily blog as she worked through all of Julie Child's recipes. The movie showed the computer page on which she wrote the blog.  I found that very exciting and I said aloud into the air, "OH ... I wish I could do that ... but I don't have anything to say!"

In March, 2012, God showed me in a dream to start writing on a blog.  I contacted Pam Padgett, a retired computer programmer at Fed Ex, and asked her if she could set up a blog for the ministry.  In 3 days we had our Jesus Ministries Blog, and I began writing.  The first day there were 2 pageviews from Germany.  I was shocked, not knowing the blog went all over this world!

Matthew 24  (Jesus said)  v. 14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Today Pam Padgett and I work 7 days a week and often into the night to get the blog and podcasts (started February, 2020) published and we even have some books ready by chapters but not yet in technical form for Amazon.  Sometimes we nearly faint.  But we don't.  Every day brings more things and sometimes we struggle to get all the messages out to you in word.  We just keep writing, publishing, and recording!  When 40 years ago, it seemed there was no way, God made ways.

Jesus said of Himself…

John 5:30  I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Podcast: Though our outward man perishes, the inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)

If you are born again, hopefully you have learned to focus on something other than your physical body as the world does.

I go to physician assistant once a year in order to get a prescription for Ambien sleep aid.  Other than that, I will go in if I really need help with something and can't take care of it with standard over the counter medicine in a reasonable time.

I'm 86, and most of the time, I don't have to go to medical office except once a year.

But I have learned to pay very little attention to my human body.  Usually it gets well by itself after 2 or three days.  I think God created it that way.  I don't do "preventive medicine", because I don't want to do it.  I don't believe in it.  I have the right to choose.  So I choose.

But being a real Christian, I'm really not afraid to die.

Recently I was so depressed by something a church woman did, I asked God to let me die.  But God didn't and HE caused things to help me recover.

Remember how Elijah asked to die when Jezebel was after him?  But God had an angel cook him a meal out in the wilderness and after Elijah ate, things looked better to him, and he kept doing the work of a prophet of God.

The outward man usually perishes.  I really don't consider this to be a big deal as some church people do.  So what?  Life doesn't end just because we die!

There is an appointed time of 70 years life in Bible, but some live longer.  Many are already well past that 70 year time and they try to hang on as if they were 20.  I consider this foolish and I choose not to do this nor do I choose to put myself into the medical system thinking to extend life.

I only want to live as long as I can exhort the church.  I've asked God to let me die the day I can no longer exhort the church.  (I'm 86.)

My PA thought I might be having heart attacks and she offered to administer an EKG to find out.  I thought about her offer, and then said, "I don't think so."  (I don't want to be caught up in this.)  If I die, I die.  I learned to take aspirin when the pain struck and in a few days it stopped.)

I've met people who can't do anything much but think about their bodies.  That is a trap I really do not plan to participate in.

(Of course if the pain got bad enough, I might ask for some pills until I could die.  So far, that hasn't happened.  But I'm not trying to live on this earth.  You have to know what your goal is.)

πŸ’₯  My goal is to make provision at my house where I can read more Bible.  I'm totally uninterested in going for a walk or things like that.  And I eat what I want to eat.  I don't mind looking like the homeless woman who can't walk. Sometimes if we do go out in the car, I put make up base over the brown blemishes that have appeared of late on my face.  Sometimes I even put on light lip-stick.  Why not?  But I don't focus on fixing my flesh.  I just cover up a little!

Luke 6 (Reading through the Bible)

And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that He went through the corn fields; and His disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
And He said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

And the scribes and Pharisees watched Him, whether He would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against Him.

But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

10 And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand.

And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

12 And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day, He called unto Him His disciples: and of them He chose twelve, whom also He named apostles;

14 Simon, (whom He also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

17 And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases;

18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him: for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.

20 And He lifted up His eyes on His disciples, and said

Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for HE is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

39 And He spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

44 For every tree is known by his own fruit.

For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever cometh to Me, and heareth My sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
