Scriptures:

Lamentations 3:24-26  The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him.

25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

Matthew 5:37   But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Isaiah 26:7  The way of the just is uprightness: Thou, Most Upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

Recently I found myself feeling so thankful for the life God has given me. Quiet and filled with everything my husband and I need and more.

When I was younger I used to love to travel. Now a trip to the grocery store is enough excitement for me, especially when I look around and rejoice in the abundance of foods God has given us to enjoy.

I was thinking again about these things this morning and was reminded of the following scripture…

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

If we have the Holy Spirit living inside us to guide us and keep us we have true riches and abundance.

Micah 7:18  Who is a God like unto THEE, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of HIS heritage? HE retaineth not HIS anger for ever, because HE delighteth in mercy.
