Mark 12 ... Reading through the Bible

1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. 2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. 3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty. 4 And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled. 5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. 7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. 8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: 11 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. 14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? 15 Shall we give, or shall we not give?

But HE (Jesus), knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. 16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. 17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying, 19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. 21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. 22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also. 23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.

And no man after that durst ask him any question.

 35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?  36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37 David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Psalm 132 ... Prayers to God & Promises from God to the Church

1 Lord, remember David,
and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the Lord,
and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house,
nor go up into my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes,
or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the Lord,
an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah:
we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 We will go into his tabernacles:
we will worship at his footstool.

8 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest;
thou, and the ark of thy strength.

9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness;
and let thy saints shout for joy.

10 For thy servant David's sake
turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David;
he will not turn from it;
Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant
and my testimony that I shall teach them,
their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion;
he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 This is my rest for ever:
here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 I will abundantly bless her provision:
I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation:
and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 There will I make the horn of David to bud:
I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame:
but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Comments by Joan Boney

In the Old Testament, God had specific designs for tabernacles.  These were symbols for what was to come in the New Testament.

The woman in Samaria asked Jesus where they should worship.

She said:  20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.  Jn. 4

Jesus replied:   Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what:we know what we worship:for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit:and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

In the New Testament, the house of God, the temple of God was not going to be a building made by human hands.  The temple of God is where the Holy Spirit dwells ... in each of us, the children of God.

I Cor. 3 ... Paul says ... 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

It is not a church building where God dwells.  God dwells in each believer, in each person given the Holy Spirit.

And Jesus says ... Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I attended a secular luncheon once and was sitting at a table with 5 other people.  One woman began to speak of her church which was across the street.  I replied, "We are the church."  She was very upset and vocal.  She railed against me saying, "She said we are a church.  I'm not a church."  She probably wasn't the church.  But we who are of God are the body of Christ and we are the church, not the building.

Therefore we do not, in the New Testament church today, go about building a "house of God" in a structure of a building constructed on a property.  For we are the House of God, the temple of the Holy Spirit today.

God flourishes inside of each of us, the church, as we do HIS will daily.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant
and my testimony that I shall teach them,
their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

We are taught by the Spirit of God who dwells in us.  Thus God teaches us.  If we do those things, we will prosper (succeed) both in this world and forever.

I Jn. 2 ...  20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth...26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you:but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Heb. 8 ... 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord:for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Numbers 11 ... Viewing the works of God through scripture

1 And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord:and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the Lord, the fire was quenched.

3 And he called the name of the place Taberah:because the fire of the Lord burnt among them.

4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting:and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

6 But now our soul is dried away:there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it:and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil. 9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.

10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent:and the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

11 And Moses said unto the Lord, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?

12 Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?

13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.

14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee. 17 And I will come down and talk with thee there:and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh:for ye have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt:therefore the Lord will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; 20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you:because that ye have despised the Lord which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?

21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month. 22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?

23 And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord 's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the Lord, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle. 25 And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders:and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad:and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle:and they prophesied in the camp.

27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.

28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.

29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord' s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!

30 And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

31 And there went forth a wind from the Lord, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails:he that gathered least gathered ten homers:and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.

33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague

34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah:because there they buried the people that lusted. 35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

What Bible says is to happen if wife departs from husband

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

So many commandments of the Lord set forth in Bible for NT church have been changed by church groups.

Here is what Bible says is a "commandment of the Lord" if the wife chooses to leave her husband.

I Cor. 7 ...

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband:

Notice Paul said this is "a commandment of the Lord" for the NT church.

==========

 In the 1970's when I was born again and first attended church groups, they were teaching that if the woman's husband was committing fornication she could divorce him and remarry.

This is not what the Bible teaches.

==========

I Cor. 7 ...

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband:

==========

The removal of scripture such as this is the "falling away" spoken of in I Thess. 2 ... This falling away has to take place before the return of Jesus.  The falling away is exactly what we are seeing as church groups remove various scriptures, falling away from scriptures. This allows antichrist to move into the church group and rule over the church group.  Antichrist is not a single man but is a spirit that comes.  It is similar to the way devil reigns inside humans.

Paul speak of this in II Thess. 2 ...

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means:for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

==========

In the meantime, the ruling for married women in the church should be the following scripture.

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: I Cor. 7

Mark 11 ... Reading through the Bible

1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, 2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. 3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither. 4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. 5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? 6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. 8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

15 And they come to Jerusalem:and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.   20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any:that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, 28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? 29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me. 31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? 32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. 33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Psalm 131 ... Prayers to God & Promises from God to the Church

1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty:
neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself,
as a child that is weaned of his mother:
my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Let Israel hope in the Lord
from henceforth and for ever.

Comments by Joan Boney

When I read verse 2, I thought of how a baby grows to point he is "weaned" and can eat solid food and even strong food.

Hebrews 5 ... 11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

As we grow in God by doing the word of God, "by reason of use", we are exercised to discern both good and evil and we can take strong meat of the Word.

Several years ago, I had the following dream.  I was in a room where a long row of baby bassinets were placed.  I walked down the row and looked into each of the bassinets.  The babies were horribly deformed.  At the end of the row stood my favorite aunt (no longer living).  She was fully grown but on her face were terrible blemishes and big spots.  I knew God was showing me people in the church who never grow up and remain babies and they become very deformed because of the bad food in the church groups. (also you remain babies if you fail to eat the food and digest it, doing the word in a proper way)  And this aunt did grow to maturity but she knew things were wrong in her church group but she stayed there anyway, thus she had the spots and blemishes on her.

James 1 ... 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Also we must handle the word of God correctly ... The Lord's supper is eating and drinking the Word of God.  The Lord's supper is not eating and drinking crackers/grape juice as they do at many churches.  Crackers/grape juice have no power in the church.  But eating and drinking the word of God correctly is great power.  The Word of God is the flesh of Jesus and the blood of Jesus and HE (the Word) is bread for the church.  This is the Lord's supper.

I Cor. 11 ... 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat:this is my body, which is broken for you:this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying,

This cup is the new testament in my blood:this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread (the Word of God), and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself (by the Word of God), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup (examining himself by the Word of God as he reads and hears the Word)

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die). 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

You cannot judge yourselves by crackers and grape juice.  Be reasonable!  You judge yourselves by that Word you hear from God and the handling of that Word properly in your life is eating and drinking the Lords supper.

To fail to properly handle that Word you hear from God would put yourself into a terrible position.  For this reason, many are weak and sickly among you, and many die.

It is a very serious matter to deal with scripture.  You can "bring damnation" to yourself by handling it wrongly, failing to apply scripture in a proper way.

Your soul might be saved but you live in "damnation" on this earth ... being around people who grieve you constantly when you are with them yet seeking to be with them is just one example of "damning yourself".

To free ourselves, we follow that one word given us that day and eventually we step into a way of life, one scripture at a time, as we properly do that scripture and subsequent scriptures.  To read without properly doing it causes weakness, sickness, and even death.

So we must be very careful as we handle the Word of God.  It cannot be done lightly.

And beware of praying if you don't plan to do as God says ... I know examples of people who foolishly pray, asking God what to do and then they don't like the instruction given by the Holy Spirit so they go the way they wanted to go in the first place.  It would be better not to ask God at all than to ask and go in your own way opposite to what you hear to do.  This would be to turn your back on God and walk away from God.  Awful!

We must handle the Word of God properly.

Proverbs 1 ...

God says ...

23 Turn you at MY reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known MY words unto you.

24 Because I have called, and ye refused;
I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all MY counsel,
and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation,
and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind;
when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer;
they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge,
and did not choose the fear of the Lord
:
30 They would none of MY counsel:
they despised all MY reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,
and be filled with their own devices
.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them,
and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto ME shall dwell safely,
and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

It is a very serious matter to read Bible.  It is a serious matter when we pray.  The way we handle the Word of God is critical to us, to our well being on this earth.

The Word of God comes through reading Bible, through thoughts given by the Holy Spirit, by dreams, by counsel of humans who are guided by God.  Anything given by God is the Word of God.  It doesn't matter how it comes.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Man also condemns himself on this earth if he handles that word incorrectly.

I Cor. 3 ... But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest:for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Numbers 2 ... Viewing the works of God through scripture

There are 603,550 men in the army of the children of Israel at the time God is getting ready to send them in to begin to take the land promised to Abraham.

There has to be great order to move this many men ... Plus there were the Levites who were not numbered among the army for they would care for the tabernacle and the things of God.  They were placed in the middle of this army with the tribes of Israel around them as they moved forward.

God set all this up in HIS perfect order.

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house:far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies:and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah. 4 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred. (74,600 men)

5 And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar:and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar. 6 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

7 Then the tribe of Zebulun:and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun. 8 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

9 All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies.

These shall first set forth.

10 On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies:and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur. 11 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

12 And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon:and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 13 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

14 Then the tribe of Gad:and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel. 15 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

16 All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies.

And they shall set forth in the second rank.

17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp:as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.

18 On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies:and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud. 19 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.

20 And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh:and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 21 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

(Remember Ephraim and Manasseh are the children of Joseph.  Manasseh was the first born, but by the will of God the younger of the brothers was placed first and Manasseh would serve Ephraim.  This deliverance took place 400 years after Joseph went down to Egypt so the sons, Ephraim and Manasseh were already dead by the time God brought HIS people out of Egypt.  These are the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.)

2 Then the tribe of Benjamin:and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni. 23 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. 24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies.

And they shall go forward in the third rank.

25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies:and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 26 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred. 27 And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher:and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran. 28 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

29 Then the tribe of Naphtali:and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan. 30 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred. 31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred.

They shall go hindmost with their standards.

32 These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers:all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty. 33 But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses.

34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses:so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.

I find this so comforting to see God set everything in perfect order.  There is an order of God and we work to keep things in order as set by God.  People try to shift about.  But we know the order and we work to keep order.

The enemy ahead are like grasshoppers for number.  They are strong.  God is going to win out.  But it has to be done God's way.  And God has a way as we go forth into the battle.  God is very specific in what we are to do.

For us, it is very simple.  We keep ourselves daily through the Word of God, correcting ourselves as needed and allowing the Word to confirm the way we are going.  We deliberately surround our mind by the word of God daily.  It is done by an act of our will.  The writings in this blog will be very helpful in doing this.

Heb. 10 ... 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We assemble together through reading this blog where there is much godly exhortation from the Word of God to help us as the day of the Lord approaches.

Greatly influenced by scripture

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently I received a bill for the amount of time a worker came to my house.  I was shocked when I opened the bill.  I was charged for 3 hrs work when he was only at my house for less than 1 hour ... and I was further upset because his work was totally incompetent.  And the company didn't send the worker I requested but "surprised" me with a stranger.

I was very upset over this.

What to do?  I didn't want to do the wrong thing.  I turned to God strongly in prayer, asking God for wisdom in handling this matter.

James 1 ... 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

For three or four days prior to receiving this bill, I had been reviewing the subject of seeking wisdom.

3 forms of wisdom:

1.  There is the wisdom that comes from God.

James 1:5 ... 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

2.  There is your own wisdom, what you think.

Proverbs 3 ... 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:

3.  There is the wisdom authored by devils.

John 10 ...10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

==========

I did not want to "tell these people off" in my own flesh.  Also devils would stir up trouble and I didn't want to do that either.

Every time I awoke in the night that night, I thought of the matter and prayed again, asking God to take over and to control my flesh and to help me to do exactly what I should do.

The next morning, I sent a check for $85 to the company explaining I was overbilled and the worker was only at my house for one hour, not three hours.

Then I felt I needed also to call accounting and tell them what happened.  As I talked to the woman in accounting I could tell she was going to have to confirm the time with the worker.  I told her this man was basically incompetent to do the work and he did no work at all while at my house and I would never allow him back again at my house.  I told her I had asked for Derick but they sent this stranger without telling me.  However, I told her I would pay for the time which was one hour, though he was even at my house less than an hour.  She began to apologize and told me in future to tell them "Derick only" if I needed help.  I told her I would do that.  We parted peacefully.  But I could tell it wouldn't have worked out without my telling her how incompetent this man's work was.  It was dealing with my sound equipment which is a very specialized field.

In all this, I rejoiced for I knew God took over in a way I never expected.  I never expected to tell of this man's incompetence and yet that is exactly what this person needed to hear in order to adjust the billing.  And she had no apparent trouble understanding the problem when I told her Derick had always taken care of my work and without my permission they sent this stranger who basically did nothing.

Pray for wisdom ... it makes all the difference in dealing with matters of this present life.

James 16:33 ... Jesus says ...
In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We overcome through HIM as we turn to God in all our ways with a sincere desire to do things according to HIS will.

Mark 10 ... Reading through the Bible

1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan:and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? 4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh:so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them:and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not:for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest:go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved:for he had great possessions.

23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God:for with God all things are possible.

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them:and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him:and the third day he shall rise again.

35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. 36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask:can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? 39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John. 42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. 43 But so shall it not be among you:but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

46 And they came to Jericho:and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace:but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Psalm 130 ... Prayers to God & Promises from God to the Church

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

2 Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities,
O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee,
that thou mayest be feared.

5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord
more than they that watch for the morning:
I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7 Let Israel hope in the Lord:
for with the Lord there is mercy,
and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.

Romans 9 ...  18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will he hardeneth.

Heb. 3 ... 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke:howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Numbers 1 ... Viewing the works of God through scripture

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls; 3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel:thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies. 4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.

God is getting the army of the children of Israel ready to go to war and to take the land HE promised to Abraham.

In Numbers 1, God has Moses number the men of each tribe who are 20 years old and over and who are able to fight.

Here are those numbers:

Ruben:  46,500
Simeon: 59,300
Gad: 45,650
Judah: 74,600
Issachar: 54,400
Zebulun: 57,400
Joseph:
  - Ephraim: 40,500
  - Manasseh: 32,200
Benjamin: 35,400
Dan: 62,700
Asher: 41,500
Naphtali: 53,400

Numbers 1 ...  44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men:each one was for the house of his fathers. 45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

(603,550)

47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48 For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying, 49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it:they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle. 51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down:and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up:and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

(You have to be appointed by God for the work of the ministry.  Remember in David's time when Uzza who was not appointed by God reached up to steady the cart carrying the ark of the covenant and God struck him dead because he was not appointed to touch the ark of the covenant...

I Chron. 13 ... 2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the Lord our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us:for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

4 And all the congregation said that they would do so:for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

5 So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim. 6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the Lord, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

7 And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab:and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. 8 And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark:and there he died before God. 11 And David was displeased, because the Lord had made a breach upon Uzza:wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.

12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

13 So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. 14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.

Wherever the word of God is, that house is blessed.)

Numbers 1

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel:and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.

God's yoke vs. the yoke you might put on yourself

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Humans often think it is good to set up goals for themselves "to get things done".  They make long lists daily of what they plan to accomplish, often thinking the more they can do the better.

The main question for us as Christians is:  What does God want me to do?  Is this really something God wants me to do?

Jesus said:

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Paul said: 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:  Romans 7

Recently I was watching a golf tournament.  The golfer, Phil Mickleson has never won a US Open.  The announcer was saying, "Will this be the year?"   Mickleson looked very strained.  I thought of all the unnecessary pressure Mickleson had put upon himself with this goal.  And I thought of all the pressure he was allowing others to put on him.  For what purpose?  Really for nothing but vanity and history which will vanish in the end, thereby accounting for nothing.

I thought of the yoke Jesus puts on us when we "come to him."

Mt. 11 ... Jesus says ... 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

But the yoke of our own flesh and the yoke of the flesh of others is usually not easy and not light and is usually filled with pride and vanity ...

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls

==========

To fret ourselves over clothing and physical appearance is a very hard yoke.  Most of us are subject to problems in this area, especially if we have to be around people.

In the approaching week, my contractor and his men will likely be doing some work at my house so I will be more visible than usual.  I only have 2 house dresses.  They will likely be working here 5 days or more.  I thought of trying to buy additional garments to wear.  Also I realized I could just wash these 2 garments and wear them again during the week.

I did go to store to see about summer robes.  But this turned out to be a very hard yoke.  It was difficult for me to walk the distance where the robes are located.  They were playing loud music which I found to be offensive.  The people in the store, both customers and workers, seemed downtrodden to me.  I made a mental note never to return again to this store.  It was depressing to see this way of life. The cashier spoke ungodly words.

 (This was a major department store in the mall.  What a poor way of life!  To think people actually delight in going to such places amazes me.)

I did buy 3 items.  I was rushing out of store to get away as quickly as possible so I didn't try these house dresses on, not caring if they ended up being too big.  But when I got home and tried one on, it was far too big.  I drove back to store and returned the items.

I decided just to use the 2 dresses I have and wash them at the end of the second day.  (easy yoke)

We can put ourselves through many things that are unwise, unnecessary ... making things hard on ourselves for no good reason when there is another way to go.

==========

3 forms of wisdom ...
